It’s Not Your Grandpa’s Social Security

It’s Not Your Grandpa’s Social Security

(I can’t verify the validity of this photo or story, got it in an e-mail, would not surprise me though)

See any gray or white hair or any older retired folks amongst the crowd?

Social Security Office In Milwaukee:
A friend went to the social security office this week to file for Medicare because it is the only way to keep medical insurance when you turn 65. He took a picture of the waiting room.

Please tell me if you can find a retired person in the place.

It’s called “disability” insurance .

You no longer have to wonder why SS is broke .

These people do not pay into the system, nor are they disabled.

Our country is going broke on this fraud ! ! !

Go down to your SS office and check it out.

One goes on SS Disability after 99 weeks of unemployment checks, and then they do not have to count them as Unemployed.

Remember in November 2012 ! ! ! !

A Women Has Needs

A Women Has Needs

After 35 years of marriage, a husband and wife came for counseling. When asked what the problem was, the wife went into a tirade listing every problem they had ever had in the years they had been married. On and on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable, an entire laundry list of unmet needs she had endured.

Finally, after allowing this for a sufficient length of time, the therapist got up, walked around the desk and after asking the wife to stand, he embraced and kissed her long and passionately as her husband watched – with a raised eyebrow. The woman shut up and quietly sat down as though in a daze. The therapist turned to the husband and said, “This is what your wife needs at least 3 times a week. Can you do this?”

“Well, I can drop her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on Fridays, I golf.”

How A Democracy Dies

How A Democracy Dies

The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the
beginning of history, has been about 200 years.

During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the
following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.”

The decline  follows:

Born 1776, Died 2012
It doesn’t hurt to read this several times.

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in  St.
Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:

Number of States won by:            Obama: 19                McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by:       Obama: 580,000        McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by:    Obama: 127 million  McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was
mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income
tenements and living off various forms of government welfare…”

Olson believes the  United States is now somewhere between the
“complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy,
with some  forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached
the “governmental dependency” phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to illegal’s – and they vote – then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

Of course we are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic .

There couldn’t be more at stake than on Nov 6, 2012. VOTE DAMMIT!!!!

A Wifes Love

A Wifes Love

A very old man lay dying in his bed. In death’s doorway, he suddenly smelled the aroma of his favorite chocolate chip cookie wafting up the stairs.

He gathered his remaining strength and lifted himself from the bed. Leaning against the wall, he slowly made his way out of the bedroom, and with even greater effort forced himself down the stairs, gripping the railing with both hands.

With labored breath, he leaned against the door frame, gazing into the kitchen. Were it not for death’s agony, he would have thought himself already in heaven.

There, spread out on newspapers on the kitchen table were literally hundreds of his favorite chocolate chip cookies.

Was it heaven? Or was it one final act of heroic love from his devoted wife, seeing to it that he left this world a happy man?

Mustering one great final effort, he threw himself toward the table. The aged and withered hand, shaking, made its way to a cookie at the edge of the table, when he was suddenly smacked with a spatula by his wife.

“Stay out of those,” she said. “They’re for the funeral.
