I have never watched Cspan for any length of time but I watched it tonight. One hour of my life wasted.

I heard from Reid, Schumer, Mcklusy, Durbin, Levin, and Murray, in one hour. Apparently closing down national parks is what happens in a shutdown. Some poor soul taking sheckles in a shack at the entrance to the park is the first to go. They get to take a few days off, which they will get compensated for in an obscure bill after this is all over with.

I don’t know how this is going to fall out politically but I can assure you this is all posturing and rhetoric. The MSM will fawn all over the dems hate speech and ya know, Fred the national park money taker has a few days off. Bummer.

The real reason Obama insists upon making the young and healthy buy insurance they don’t want is not the relatively minor free rider problem but the potentially ruinous adverse selection problem: The most expensive patients are the ones who are most likely to sign up for coverage. To keep the official 10-year price tag of his plan below that magical $1 trillion threshold, he needs to balance sick people who rack up big bills with healthy people who pay for insurance but don’t use it. Instead of acknowledging this reality, Obama portrays the healthy uninsured as irresponsible leeches.

Yup, here is a dose of reality for all those idealistic young folks who voted for Obama without a real clue of what he was actually planning, he just views you as a money source he can leech off to support his socialist policies.

Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain hired the Syria analyst in favor of U.S. intervention who was fired for fabricating her Ph.D. Elizabeth O’Bagy, formerly of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), will start Monday as a legislative assistant in Sen. McCain’s office.

This is the women who sold McCain a pack of lies about the Syrian rebels and their “moderate” stance, then caught in a lie about her education. Yeah seems about right for McCain right now.

McCain told Foreign Policy that “Elizabeth is a talented researcher, and I have been very impressed by her knowledge and analysis in multiple briefings over the last year.” The senator’s office said they would not make any further comment on O’Bagy’s employment.

Wrong! I would say theirs some splainin’ to do.

Your/Our/My politicians don’t give a shit about us. By passing up the chance to unite as a party, instead they choose to slap down the trouble makers by voting for cloture. I don’t care if Cruz was right or wrong in this fight. At least he tried to do something.
