  1. I am from Alhambra, CA and was in HS at that time. We all had to walk to school except if you were over a mile plus and then you were bussed.

We all had PE classes with work out and sports. Many were in some sort of school sports. I had Football but my team was not great.

  2. I graduated HS in ’69. San Diego, East County. JG said said it. Plus our food was not GMO or processed to the nth degree. No smart phones, no obsessive tv watching. Friends in meat space, friendly folks DOING things. Crime was something you READ ABOUT in the news paper. Cops were “officer friendly”, even to smart ass high school kids.
    Different time, different world.

  3. was born in 68, went thru high school in the 80s. i think the pinnacle for the usa was the 90s been all downhill since. i so miss going up in 70s and 80s america.
1950s america was the time to be born imo, you’d have had great mom stays home families, plane travel becomes norm, the usa was always great and not an oppressor and you’d be checking out now.
