Then why did she not do it while the Dems had a majority in both the House and Senate during the first two years of Obama’s first term? This is just political rhetoric. She knows the courts will strike it down but she is appealing to her far left contingency. Her supporters really feel that they can solve the violence by banning guns. Similar to the groups that thought the alcohol problems could be solved via prohibition. You’re time is up, DiFi, you are not far left enough.
We the People who acknowledge the 2nd Amendment, preserve the 2nd, and fight to maintain its soul purpose in our nation will never give up our right to protect ourselves and family have acknowledged that in history those stupid enough to give up that right to defend ones self will fall under dictator rule, crime rises against them and they become victims of their own stupidity.
As Charleston Heston stated ” My Cold Dead Hands” that is the only way I’ll ever give up the right to protect myself, family and abode.
