What a stupid fucking idea. How is it working out for all of the so-called Arab Spring countries? All I ever hear about is sharia law from radical islamists groups that could eventually lead to more terrorist being harbored in their borders. What is wrong with these politicians of ours? Can’t they see what is happening over there? With the evident failure of an international peace plan designed to end the violence in Syria, recent actions by the Obama administration indicate the White House could be inching toward a military response, a Senate Armed Services Committee member said.

“I think they’re moving toward some more real action,” Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Ct.) told The Hill regarding the White House’s evolving position on Syria.

Lieberman, along with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), has been at the forefront of the congressional effort to provide military support to Syria.

“Every day that passes more people get killed,” Lieberman said. “It’s our moral obligation to help them.”

Why? Why is it our “moral obligation” to help. What have the people of Syria done for the United States over the past… say….history of the world? Don’t get caught up in the Hollywood sympathy bullshit later on in the clip. Just pay attention to the money requested to arm the Afghans.

So let me get this straight.

You are chaplain of a religious faith that believes marriage is between a man and a woman and you are being forced by your government to marry same-sex individuals, even though it goes against your personal beliefs.

You are a FBI agent tasked with determining who, what, and where terrorists may be located in the United States, but your government is telling you that you can’t profile muslim groups, even though that is at the root of your job.

You are a state politician trying to get your fiscal house in order, and you are succesful in that endeavor, but the law allows that you can be thrown out of office because you pissed off the people who created the financial mess in the first place.

You are a high school student who can’t get a pepsi or candy bar for lunch, because the government has decided that it you are not capable of making your own healthy choices.

Your freedoms are being taken everyday, little by little, bit by bit. Remember in November!

Seriously are these people for real? First off, it is total bullshit that they allow the Fed’s to determine what and when we as Americans can buy a damn soda. Secondly, they are taking money from a school program to pay the federal government, when the rules were put in place to keep federal funding for the school, the hypocrisy staggers the mind. And finally, who the hell is paying the food police salaries and how many are there? How much are the  taxpayers on the hook for these little Nazi’s?

We lose are losing freedoms everyday, and they are making sure future generations are used to being told what, when, and where, without questioning WHY!

A Utah high school is learning the hard way that the government is serious about nudging students away from food it doesn’t want them to consume. Davis High School in the Salt Lake City area is having to fork over a whopping $15,000 in fines to the Feds because it accidentally sold soda through a vending machine during lunch.

Federal law requires the school to turn off its soda machines during the lunch period, which is 47 minutes a day. And Davis High school did turn off the machines in the lunch room. However, the school didn‘t realize that there was another machine in the school bookstore that wasn’t being turned off. And when the food police realized it, the school was hit with a $0.75 fine per student for the duration of the offense.

Now the school is going to have to cut money to fine arts programs to make up the cost.

During her weekly Capitol press briefing, Pelosi congratulated President Obama on his May 9 official decision to support same sex marriage, calling it a “great day for America,” and adding that she too feels the issue of same-sex marriage is an issue of anti-discrimination and equalityfor all. “My religion has, compels me – and I love it for it – to be against discrimination of any kind in our country, and I consider this a form of discrimination. I think it’s unconstitutional on top of that,” Pelosi said.

Rep. Barney Frank, an openly gay member of Congress, says he doesn’t expect President Barack Obama’s support of gay marriage to sway any voters. “Frank also said he wasn’t surprised by the president’s announcement. “I expected the president to be supporting same-sex marriage because, frankly, of the absence of any good reason against it once you believe that people ought to be treated fairly,” Frank said.

Even as President Barack Obama’s shift on gay marriage opens up a new round of debate about federal laws, Sen. Harry Reid has remained adamant in his view that decisions about who should and should not be allowed to marry should be left to the states. But on Thursday, Reid quietly said that if he were called on to vote one way or another in his home state of Nevada, he would “follow [his] children and grandchildren” and support legalizing gay marriage in Nevada. Reid communicated his position without words: He nodded affirmatively in response to a reporter questioning whether he would support a vote in Nevada to recognize homosexual marriages. The statement expressed by that nod is a significant one for the Senate majority leader, who has often said that he doesn’t object to gay couples marrying or think it’s any of his business whether or not gay couples choose to marry, but has never proactively said he would support their right to do so at the state level if asked to decide.

Chicago cronyism at it’s finest. This shit won’t stop, give Obama another term where he is not worried about re-election and this will pale in comparison to what he is capable of. The Administration and the HHS can say that UHI passed all the criteria that was needed for the grant, but with Mooch’s ties and being Obama’s bestist buddy, what do you think? Plus the director of the HHS is a Obama appointee, quid pro quo my friends. It’s like the guy won the lottery and is helping all of his pal’s, well in a way he did, in his eyes he won the Presidency so he won the ultimate lottery. Never ending supply of taxpayer money to be divided amongst his peeps. Damn shame!

The Department of Health and Human Services last week announced it had awarded a $5.9 million grant to a University of Chicago Medical Center program tied to Michelle Obama and run by Eric Whitaker, one of President Obama’s closest friends.

The Urban Health Initiative, which received the award, was originally based on a smaller program launched during the last decade by Michelle Obama, who was an executive at the University of Chicago Medical Center before she departed to become first lady. The UHI is headed up by Obama basketball and golf buddy Whitaker, who has known the president since Obama’s days in law school and who also vacations with the first family.

 Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett also has ties to the UHI. Until resigning to go work at the White House, Jarrett was Chairman of the University of Chicago Medical Center Board of Trustees. And in 2007, a PR firm run by former senior White House adviser and Obama political guru David Axelrod provided provided public relations strategy advice to the UHI, according to the Washington Post.
