What A Small World

What A Small World

Back in 1969, a group of Black Panthers decided that a fellow black panther named Alex Rackley needed to die. Rackley was suspected of disloyalty. Rackley was first tied to a chair. Once safely immobilized, his friends tortured him for hours by, among other things, pouring boiling water on him.

When they got tired of torturing Rackley, Black Panther member, Warren Kimbro took Rackley outside and put a bullet in his head. Rackley’s body was later found floating in a river about 25 miles north of New Haven, Connecticut. KimbroWarren

In 1977, that’s only eight years later, only one of the killers was still in jail.

The shooter, Warren Kimbro, managed to get a scholarship to Harvard and became good friends with none other than Al Gore. He later became an assistant dean at an Eastern Connecticut State College.

Isn’t that something!!! As a ’60s radical you can pump a bullet into someone’s head and a few years later, in the same state, you can be8come an assistant college dean! Erica Huggins was the woman who served the Panthers by boiling the water for Mr. Rackley’s torture . Some years later, Ms. Huggins was elected to a California School Board.

MLK-Keynote-Speaker-2-with-student-Alex-Photo-by-Olivia-Gear-How in the world do you think these killers got off so easily? Maybe it was in some part due to the efforts of two people who came to the defense of the Panthers. These two people actually went so far as to shut down Yale University with demonstrations in defense of the accused Black Panthers during their trial.
Bill Lann Lee
One of these people was none other than Bill Lan Lee. Mr. Lee, or Mr. Lan Lee, as the case may be, isn’t a college dean. He isn’t a member of a California School Board. He is now head of the United States Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, appointed by none other than Bill Clinton. O.K., so who was the other Panther defender? Is this other notable Panther defender now a school board member? Is this other Panther apologist now an assistant college dean? No, neither!

The other Panther defender was, like Lee, a radical law student at Yale University at the time. She’s now known as The “smartest woman in the world.” She’s none other than the former Democratic senator from the State of New York – – our former First Lady, and the Secretary of State, the incredible Hillary Rodham Clinton.Bill-Hillary-Clinton

Public Sector Pensions = City Killers

Public Sector Pensions = City Killers

I worked at a steel plant for eight terrifying months with union employees. I could work circles around most of them but because their badge number had an earlier hire date, I couldn’t move up by out working them. Most people assimilate to the union way….I quit.
The steel plant was a private company, it’s closed now and anything worth taking was sold to China and the plant demolished
, ironic huh.

Let’s look at public sector unions. They won’t close the government because China makes cheaper government, but the city/state can be dealt a blow by promises made by politicians on pensions. Democrats love unions because they do the same thing, get ahead using other peoples money.
Hard work used to be the mantra of America, now it’s who ya know, who ya blow, and quid pro quo. Sad.

When economists (those assholes again!) talk about public debt, they seldom mention the mountain of promises to government employees. If I promise you a job and regular raises for the next 30 years, that’s a debt I owe. It is no different than borrowing the money and handing it to you.

Problem is, it’s taxpayer money.

Furthermore, it’s no secret that state and municipal governments face few if any looming financial crises greater than pensions. Some governments have taken piecemeal steps to address this, largely copying moves made by the private sector. More specifically, defined contributions plans like 401ks are now recognized as far more sensible than the rich defined benefits schemes that were once the norm.

So it sounds great but in actual practice it fails miserably. Especially in a stagnant economy.

I can provide the answer here. They cannot be defused. They will explode when the cash runs out in the next decade. I’m not shedding any tears for the workers. They knew, or at least they should have known, that these lavish benefit packages were out of line. They live in the same world as the rest of us. They also know the money for those lavish pay and benefit plans comes out of their neighbors paycheck. To put it bluntly, they have been fucking the rest of us for decades so fuck’em.

Yep.

But the relationship between unions – whose power is increasingly concentrated in the public sector – and lawmakers means handsome deals have been struck between decidedly non-adversarial parties. Besides, it all involves other people’s money, and the unions have always provided handsome returns to friendly politicians’ campaign war chests. Taxpayers are now looking at the monstrous bill produced by such cozy extravagance.

It’s always the taxpayers getting screwed.

Louisiana, fortunately, doesn’t have as gigantic a burden as states like Connecticut face. That doesn’t mean it isn’t a huge problem in the Pelican State – to the tune of somewhere between $20 billion or nearly $75 billion, depending on which alarming report you consider more accurate.

Louisiana hasn’t adopted sensible reforms like raising the retirement age and moving to defined contribution plans. Louisiana taxpayers are still stuck with an antiquated and expensive arrangement where the defined benefit plan rules supreme.

In 2012 the Legislature did pass a law requiring future state hires to enroll in defined contribution plans, but led by the teachers’ unions and other interested parties – staffers, boards, lobbyists, investment salespeople, accountants, lawyers and the rest who ride like remoras on this bloated whale – the law was repealed.

What? Repealed? Shocker!

Of course. Letting public employees unionize was never about the state employees. It was about the democrat politicians hoovering off billions in tax dollars through the unions. The hacks running the unions funnel money to the politicians, who play ball. The union jacks also keep a nice share for themselves.

In other words, what Louisiana and practically every other state across this great land faces is a system that is — all together now — unsustainable.

There is no magic fountain. No one will do anything until it is too late. Detroit is the example states will follow. Over the next decade or so services will be reduced and budgets cut in areas like public recreation and road maintenance. Then the first waves of the crisis will hit state capitals. They will force haircuts on bond holders in an effort to contain the crisis. Eventually they will come back to pension plans and force haircuts on them. Some will simply default, passing a change to their constitutions to let them off the hook. The unions will sue, like they are in Illinois, but you can’t get blood from a stone.

What no one considers is those haircuts on bond holders will send ripples through the bond markets. A world built on passing debt around like whores at a biker bar cannot tolerate wholesale defaults. read entire article here

Speaking Of The Clintons – Flashback 2007

Speaking Of The Clintons – Flashback 2007

I really dislike Dick Morris but he did work in the Clinton administration and has personal knowledge of what they really are like. Here are a few examples of what Mr. Morris had to say about Hillarys wonderful experience. This was written back in 2007 as Hillary was gearing up for her Presidential run. I would suggest that anything she has done in the past pales in comparison to her failure in Benghazi. But still interesting info. Source

AN ANALYSIS WORTH READING:
by Dick Morris, former political advisor to President Bill Clinton
If you happen to see the Bill Clinton five minute TV ad for Hillary in which he introduces the commercial by saying … he wants to share some things we may not know about Hillary’s background. Beware as I was there for most of their presidency and know them better than just about anyone, I offer a few corrections;

Bill says: “In law school Hillary worked on legal services for the poor.”

The facts are: Hillary’s main extra-curricular activity in law school was helping the Black Panthers, on trial in Connecticut for torturing and killing a federal agent. She went to court every day as part of a law student monitoring committed to trying to spot civil rights violations and develop grounds for appeal.
_________________________________________________________

Bill says: “Hillary spent a year after graduation working on a children’s rights project for poor kids.”

The facts are: Hillary interned with Bob Truehaft, the head of the California Communist Party. She met Bob when he represented the Panthers and traveled all the way to San Francisco to take an internship with him.
_________________________________________________________

Bill says: “Hillary could have written her own job ticket, but she turned down all the lucrative job offers.”

The facts are: She flunked the DC bar exam, yes, flunked, it is a matter of record, and only passed the Arkansas bar. She had no job offers in Arkansas , none, and only got hired by the University of Arkansas Law School at Fayetteville because Bill was already teaching there. She did not join the prestigious Rose Law Firm until Bill became Arkansas Attorney General and was made a partner only after he was elected Arkansas Governor.
_________________________________________________________

Bill says: “President Carter appointed Hillary to the Legal Services Board of Directors and she became its chairman.”

The facts are: The appointment was in exchange for Bill’s support for Carter in his 1980 primary against Ted Kennedy.
_________________________________________________________

Bill says: “She served on the board of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.”

The facts are: Yes she did. But her main board activity, not mentioned by Bill, was to sit on the Wal-Mart board of directors, for a substantial fee.
_________________________________________________________

Bill says:  “Hillary didn’t succeed at getting health care for all Americans in 1994 but she kept working at it and helped to create the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) that provides five million children with health insurance.”

The facts are: Hillary had nothing to do with creating CHIP. It was included in the budget deal between Clinton and Republican Majority Leader Senator Trent Lott.
I know; I helped to negotiate the deal. The money came half from the budget deal and half from the Attorney Generals’ tobacco settlement. Hillary had nothing to do with either source of funds.
_________________________________________________________

Bill says:  “Hillary was the face of America all over the world.”

The facts are: Her visits were part of a program to get her out of town so that Bill would not appear weak by feeding stories that Hillary was running the White House. Her visits abroad were entirely touristic and symbolic and there was no substantive diplomacy on any of them.
_____________________________________________________________

Bill says:  “Hillary was an excellent Senator who kept fighting for children’s and women’s issues.”

The facts are: Other than totally meaningless legislation like changing the names on courthouses and post offices, she has passed only four substantive pieces of legislation. One set up a national park in Puerto Rico . A second provided respite care for family members helping their relatives through Alzheimer’s or other conditions. And two were routine bills to aid 911 victims and responders which were sponsored by the entire NY delegation.

Presently she is trying to have the US memorialize the Woodstock fiasco of 40 years ago.

Pathetic

It’s Worse Than You Think

It’s Worse Than You Think

Great read, here’s an excerpt:

By 2031, nearly a century after the Social Security Act, an estimated 75 million baby boomers will have retired. Aside from the demographic disparity in worker ages is a subtler disparity in worker productivity and independence as senior citizens are left chasing social spending dollars that are increasingly going to a younger population. ObamaCare with its Medicare Advantage cuts was a bellwether of the shift in health care spending from seniors to the welfare population.

Which we all know will happen. If not curbed the welfare state will grow exponentially.

Increasing welfare is only a form of Death Panel economic triage that doesn’t compensate for the lack of productive workers. It’s easy to model Obamerica as Detroit, a country with a huge indigent welfare population and a small wealthy tax base. The model doesn’t work in Detroit and it’s flailing in New York, California and every city and state where it’s been tried.

Taxing the rich only works when more people become wealthy and the stick around. Which is not happening.

After a century of misery, the left still hasn’t learned that there is no substitute for the middle class. It’s not just running out of money, it’s running out of people. Keep Reading

And there in lies the sprint for immigration. It is worse than it appears.

Florida State Fair Ruined By Massive Group Of Teens

Florida State Fair Ruined By Massive Group Of Teens

Sorry, but this is what you get for the war on poverty and the breakdown of the American family. Good luck Tampa

TAMPA — The Florida State Fair, reeling from a rampage involving hundreds of youths on opening night, announced late downloadTuesday it is taking steps to curb such outbreaks by requiring that any minor presenting a free entry ticket after 7 p.m. be accompanied by an adult.

The rampage had left law enforcement and community leaders wondering what went wrong and how to make it right.

Sheriff’s deputies, numbering almost 200, said they were overwhelmed by the throng of youth running amok — Deputies ended up closing down the midway early because of the chaos.

Apparently, wilding on the first Friday night of the state fair is an underground tradition.

So what did you expect when you let a bunch of feral kids onto the grounds after you know this is what they do?

Most of the chaos was blamed on black youths, law enforcement officials and others said.

Once again parent/parents who don’t give a rats ass about what their kids are doing, and just turns them loose on the community. That community needs to look in the mirror and find out what the root cause of the problem is.

“A lot of those kids came from our community, unfortunately,” said the Rev. Moses Brown, a local pastor and spokesman for Pastors on Patrol, an outreach organization that helps black families in the Tampa region. “I find it heartbreaking that they are out in public doing this. They are representing their families and their community and to see that type of recalcitrant behavior … where did we go wrong?

Oh, sorry. Community leaders can’t figure out the problem, even though it’s obvious.

“Have we missed out in our churches? Have we missed out in our families, the classroom?” he said. “We have to find the rudimentary cause of this.

Start voting for people who know how to resolve the issues. People who believe in family values, hard work, and getting off  welfare will go a long way towards reigning in these kids. But you have got a generation before it will take effect, the damage has been done to your current crop.

The problem of rampaging youth on the first Friday of the fair dates back to the 1990s or earlier and some years are worse 24686394_SAthan others, deputies said. Last year, 56 people were ejected and two were arrested the first Friday night of the fair; in 2012 there were 48 ejections and eight arrests; and in 2011, 93 ejections and nine arrests.

So it’s been happening for quite some time?

Carolyn Collins, president of the Hillsborough County branch of the NAACP, said she was unaware there was a problem at the fair and has never heard of it even though she’s been involved with the organization for years.

“We did not know about it,” she said.

“It needs to be addressed,” she said. “This … is a problem of youth. We have got to figure out how to resolve it. There are no easy answers.” She suggested sitting down with young people to get their perspectives, their ideas. “Everybody,” she said, “plays a role in this.”

The NAACP = Clueless. Doesn’t surprise me, glad I live thousands of miles away.

GOP Goes Cannibal

GOP Goes Cannibal

Unbelievable tactics by the establishment Republicans. I can’t think of any other reason for them doing this other than the Tea Party members may actually do their job and shrink the size of government, thereby shrinking the RINO’s wallets. It’s pretty chicken shit I can tell you that. They are acting exactly like their liberal colleagues and they don’t see the hypocrisy? Shame on you you sons a bitches!

In an effort to head off “new Todd Akins” in the GOP primary field, the Republican Party is starting to put pressure on conservative donors to choose more establishment, competitive candidates, the New York Times reported Monday. “I’ve been told by a number of donors to our ‘super PAC’ that they’ve received calls from senior Republican senators,” said FreedomWorks president Matt Kibbe, who characterized the message thusly: “’I can’t give to you because I’ve been told I won’t have access to Republican leadership.’ So they’re playing hardball.”

That’s not hardball, that is intimidation. BZsp5ZtCUAAgtZP

Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) got the National Republican Senatorial Committee to drop a major advertising firm over its work for the Senate Conservatives Fund, which targets incumbent Republicans. SCF executive director Matt Hoskins said his employees have felt pressure to leave the group or be blacklisted.

“[McConnell’s] essentially joined the I.R.S. in targeting conservative groups,” Hoskins said. “It’s all meant to intimidate.”

Yup, just like the IRS. Well I guess the Tea Party is doing something right to scare these bastards into using these tactics against their own.

imagesThe strategy is enjoying success. Richard Black, a Virginia conservative who was exploring a run for Congress, dropped his bid after major GOP entities endorsed his opponent, Barbara Comstock. “It was pretty evident that she had all the machinery,” Black said after dropping out.

Well done you idiots. Ass kissers is not what is needed in Washington,  we need ass kickers who really want to change the unsustainable direction of this government.
