I have had MSN as my home page for years, I’m just used to it coming up when I start up the old Gateway. That being said you get all kinds of left leaning, liberal headings and articles. So I assume that a majority of people who follow MSN are probably lefties or moderate at best. So I was amused when I saw this poll they were doing about Eric Holder wanting to give convicts back their voting rights. Enjoy.
I wonder how many people could have been fed with the taxpayer money they spent on this fiasco.
Rumor has it the dress cost $12,000.00 and the dinner was in the $300,000.00 range. For one dinner!
Boehner and the boys have decided to give Obama a clean debt ceiling. Nothing, nada, zero asked in return. So what is Obama to consider next time there is a legislative battle with Republicans? When the GOP ostensibly puts its foot down, do you think there will be shivers running down the administrations spine? Doubt it.
Obama did things that no other president has done during the shutdown to make it as painful as possible for the American people. There has been a government shutdown with every president except for George W. Bush and none of them closed national parks, museums, memorials. But Obama did. And he has got the GOP freaked out that he would do it again.
So what did we gain by caving to Obama the first time? Nothing. Republicans should have insisted on changes they wanted, no matter how long the shutdown lasted. No Obama knows how to deal with these spineless wimps. Play hardball, something Republicans refuse to do.
Maybe, maybe not. But it may take more than elections.
Brazen public corruption will only stop when forced. Talking…complaining…dissecting are warmly welcomed by the political class — because it means you’re not prepared to force. The political class is reassured by your talking & complaining, and hopes it goes on forever………

Thankfully I won’t be around for the end game of his example in the second clip, but my children and grandchildren will, all because of policies adopted by 535 people in Washington DC.

I don’t care if this is commonly done by all Presidents, it is a practice that needs to stop.
