Obama Camp Plants Vets In Portland Diner

Obama Camp Plants Vets In Portland Diner

What a joke. The chances of him running into someone unhappy with his policies is unacceptable.
Romney spoke at the NAACP Conference, Obama stacks a diner with friendlies……just sayin.

The three veterans were not regulars.
They just happened to be sitting in a booth at the diner when Obama popped in.

“No, they were not regulars.” The waitress who served President Obama, Mary, told me the veterans with whom the President discussed “health care” were not regulars. In fact, the Obama Campaign even had a copy of their bios on hand.

The roundtable participants bio’s were provided by the campaign…..that they conveniently had on hand….. even though he just popped in for a surprise visit and chat….with some good old boy’s ……who just happen to be supporters. I must admit, this stunt will give him some transparency points, you can see right through the fake luncheon.

The three veterans who had lunch with President Barack Obama Tuesday in outer Northeast Portland didn’t just happen to wander into the Gateway Breakfast House.

All have connections to the Obama reelection campaign and were presumably chosen for good political reasons.

After all, Obama had given a speech Monday at a convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Reno, so the Portland lunch reinforced the message that president cares about vets.  In addition, the local vets — Thomas Foeller of Oak Grove and Mark Peterson and Dean Dilley, both of Portland — are retired white males, a demographic the Obama campaign would certainly like to do better with.
Full Story Here and Here.

Prove It…..

Prove It…..

…….the liar in chief said whaaaaa?

“Let’s keep taking care of our extraordinary military families.  For the first time ever, we’ve made military families and veterans a top priority not just at DOD, not just at the VA, but across the government.  As Richard mentioned, this has been a mission for my wife, Michelle, and Vice President Joe Biden’s wife, Dr. Jill Biden.  Today, more people across America in every segment of society are Joining Forces to give our military families the respect and the support that they deserve.”

Ok. What have they done. Mooch and Ms. Biden, where? When?  Opened a check book from the taxpayers wallet? They certainly did not open their own wallets.

I can’t confirm these wonderful gifts given by the first ladies. Could you guys help me. It must have come from their own generosity.

Chicago Politics Implemented By The Obama Administration……Again

Chicago Politics Implemented By The Obama Administration……Again

I can’t believe that Obama has the gall to use federal resources to attack GOP campaign donors.
It goes beyond executive privilege. This is flat-out dirty politics and is an abuse of the office he holds. The Obama administration has turned loose his ankle biters on a Romney campaign donor businessman Frank VanderSloot. Obama’s website called out seven other donors in April with claims of less-than-reputable dealings. Which of course is bullshit and an outright lie.
A Nod to Weasel Zippers for the story

This column has already told the story of Frank VanderSloot, an Idaho businessman who last year contributed to a group supporting Mitt Romney. An Obama campaign website in April sent a message to those who’d donate to the president’s opponent. It called out Mr. VanderSloot and seven other private donors by name and occupation and slurred them as having “less-than-reputable” records.

Mr. VanderSloot has since been learning what it means to be on a presidential enemies list. Just 12 days after the attack, the Idahoan found an investigator digging to unearth his divorce records. This bloodhound—a recent employee of Senate Democrats—worked for a for-hire opposition research firm.

Now Mr. VanderSloot has been targeted by the federal government. In a letter dated June 21, he was informed that his tax records had been “selected for examination” by the Internal Revenue Service. The audit also encompasses Mr. VanderSloot’s wife, and not one, but two years of past filings (2008 and 2009).

Mr. VanderSloot, who is 63 and has been working since his teens, says neither he nor his accountants recall his being subject to a federal tax audit before. He was once required to send documents on a line item inquiry into his charitable donations, which resulted in no changes to his taxes. But nothing more—that is until now, shortly after he wrote a big check to a Romney-supporting Super PAC.

Two weeks after receiving the IRS letter, Mr. VanderSloot received another—this one from the Department of Labor. He was informed it would be doing an audit of workers he employs on his Idaho-based cattle ranch under the federal visa program for temporary agriculture workers.

This reminds me of the Gibson Guitar investigation and raid. Just because they backed the GOP and their business competitor was a democratic donor, they were hounded by the DOJ for some bullshit vague law that the DOJ deemed the guitar company had violated.

It has come out that Juszkiewicz is a Republican donor, while the CEO of one of his principal competitors, C.F. Martin & Company, is a Democratic donor. Martin reportedly uses the same wood, but DOJ hasn’t raided them, leading to speculation that the Obama administration is sending a warning to Republican businessmen that they had better not oppose his re-election, lest they face criminal investigations. Normally such speculation would not be credible, but Eric Holder has politicized the Department of Justice to a point where such questions must be taken seriously.  A Nod to Powerline for the archived article.

What kind of shady backroom politics is this? How can Obama think that this kind of abuse of power is not an impeachable offense? There has to be a paper trail for these decisions to attack Americans who have done nothing but….well…being Americans and donating according to their beliefs.

30 Minutes Of Stupid….Can It Be Contagious?

30 Minutes Of Stupid….Can It Be Contagious?

I know there is other shit going on in this world but I have to vent for just a sec.
I am checking out my favorite sites as the wife takes control of the television, one of her favorite shows is on….the Kardshians.
Just listening to this gaggle of witless dingbats and the morons that they have chosen as their victims is excruciating. I am having a hard time even hitting the accurate keys on the keyboard because of the mindless and immature babble in the background is causing severe brain cramps.

Now I know that Kim Kardashian is a decent looking female, but I grade on a scale here, and I do take into account some semblance of a brain. There is nothing but grey matter going on in that pretty little head of hers, and her siblings and especially the mother. And they pay these people for this.

I have tried to explain my disdain for this type of entertainment to my bride but to no avail. She likes it and that’s just that. I guess I didn’t marry her for her taste in late night tv but I am a captive audience since my computer is 5 feet away from the television.
I think this is some form of jedi mind fuck that the progressives in La La Land have come up with to destroy the normal thinking individual. I am hoping that as long as I don’t look at the tv I will not be effected by whatever sorcery has been spun on my wife and the millions of others who watch this drivel.

They really should have some kind of a public service warning that watching this show may cause lack of oxygen to the brain or could cause long term stupid….ya know.
If you notice any changes in my blogging please alert me and let me know that, yes, I have been effected by the sites and sounds emitting from these brainless twits with tits.

Where Is The Deterence?

Where Is The Deterence?

The information is rushing in about the man who went on the worst mass shooting in US history. The shooting was planned out and executed to perfection by the killer with the thought that the body count would be large.
One wonders what he was thinking as he planned the attack. Was he considering what the consequences of his actions would be? With the willingness to give up without a fight to police, it is noted that he was not interested in going out in a hail of gunfire. Suicide by police it seems was not an option. If he wanted to do himself in he had the time. Given the fact that he was fully body armored it seems as though he would want a showdown with police, but he waited in his parked car and surrendered without struggle.

Why? What is the ultimate goal? What would possess him to try and kill dozens?

I think the real question should be, what would have stopped him? What punishment could carry enough weight to change the man’s mind?
I suggest a death penalty that is carried out in days, not years. What civil rights does a person have when he violates the rights of others to live. He has been arrested and proven to be the shooter. I am sure he has confessed or gone silent. But without a doubt he is guilty. So why go through the process of the court system? He had rights…before the shooting.

I say he has waived those rights and has decided to be judged by the only being that can dole out true justice, and that is his maker. Let God decide what to do with him, which means put the man down immediately.

Lets look at another twisted mind. Tuscon shooter Jared Lee Loughner. Witnesses have named him as the killer and he has confessed.
Jared Loughner has not even seen his day in court yet. His lawyers are running through the various pleas and legal bullshit to keep the man alive. He killed a judge, a six-year-old girl, and four other souls, he damn near killed a congresswoman and wounded thirteen others. So how does this legal haranguing deter the next killer?

If James Holmes decides that he can have his media moment to make whatever point he was trying to make, and knows that he will live for years in jail awaiting his judgment then what could have possibly stopped him. Jared Loughner still awaits his sentencing and in the meantime taxpayers pay to feed, clothe, house, and pay for attorneys and for what? He has killed and taken others civil rights, he has none left, he gave up his rights to due process or any other legal action. So why wait?

Killers must consider the punishment if and when caught. And if the punishment is no media, no attorney, no insane plea, nothing but  the punishment that fits the crime….and is swift…within two days. That will deter the next James Holmes and Jared Loughner. Put them to death within days of their attacks, without fanfare or media circus. They do not get the opportunity to have a day in court and rant about whatever injustices they believe have been inflicted on them. That would be a deterent.
Many scream for gun laws, that would be the ticket, yeah, tougher gun laws. Problem is, if someone wants to get a gun, they can get a gun, period. All the laws we have against illegal drugs does not seem to stop the….ya know…illegal drugs.

Would the potential for swift death stop the likes of these individuals? I don’t know. What I do think is that arming yourself to the teeth and shooting into a defensless position is about a cowardly as it gets, and cowards are usually afraid to die. So in my mind, yes, if they thought that they would be put to death within days of arrest they would definitely reconsider the act. Maybe enough to change their minds completely.     That is all we could really ask for is it not?

…And The Horse You Rode In On…

…And The Horse You Rode In On…

How many countries have given a dime to the U.S.? They should not get anything from us. What level have we sunk to that we give VERIFIED terrorists  anything? Get the hell out and let them self implode. I could give a shit less. And so should you. They get what they deserve!

The House agreed to a $650 million cut from Pakistan military aid Wednesday night as Republicans sought to tamp down demands for still deeper reductions because of conservative anger at the Islamabad government.

Rep. Ted Poe (R-Texas) first came to the floor demanding a $1.3 billion cut and initially won the endorsement of Rep. Bill Young (R-Fla.), who was managing the defense bill on the floor. But ultimately a cut of $650 million was settled upon with the intention of reducing Pakistan’s funds by half.

Rep. Norman Dicks (D-Wash.), the ranking Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee, appeared to agree to the compromise, since it was approved by a voice vote. And the end result is to conform with prior cuts agreed to this spring as part of a defense authorization bill.

Nonetheless, the fresh cut follows on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s recent efforts to bridge the gap with Pakistan. And the combination of Poe’s inflammatory rhetoric and Young’s cheerful endorsement was not a reassuring for the Obama administration as it tries to rebuild relations.

“It is time for a new strategy with Pakistan,” said Poe, who described Pakistan as a “Benedict Arnold” nation. “More money is not going to solve the problem. … Pakistan is playing America.”

Mooch Knows What “Perks of the job” Means

Mooch Knows What “Perks of the job” Means

Once again it’s the Chicago way. You win an office, you own the world. No wonder she is campaigning so hard. She would have to use her own money on vacations if  BamBam doesn’t get re-elected.

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and fights government corruption, announced today that it has obtained records from the United States Air Force and the United States Secret Service detailing Michelle Obama’s February 2012 President’s Day weekend ski vacation to Aspen, Colorado, with her two daughters.

Judicial Watch obtained the records pursuant to a May 31, 2012, lawsuit against both government agencies. Among the highlights from the records are: The total cost for the Aspen ski vacation was at least $83,182.99.
Bill for the U.S. Secret Service, including accommodations at the Fasching Haus deluxe condominium and the Inn at Aspen, was $48,950.38.
The cost for the flight, per official DOD published hourly rates, was $22,583.70
Food and miscellaneous on-flight items cost $235.44.
The cost for rental cars totaled $6,442.23.

Key details, including flight records for the Secret Service detail and the names of individuals who accompanied Mrs. Obama on the vacation, were redacted from the documents with the exception of two staffers. One was Meredith Koop, her personal assistant and style advisor, the other was her scheduler Kristen Jarvis.

As reported by the Aspen Daily News on February 18, 2012:
First Lady Michelle Obama arrived in Aspen on Friday afternoon and is here with her daughters for a ski vacation. Few details about her trip were available. Sources said she is staying at the home of Jim and Paula Crown, owners of the Aspen Skiing Co. She is reportedly skiing at Buttermilk today, where the Crowns, of Chicago, own a home on the Tiehack side.

FoxNews.com noted that the trip was the 16th vacation in three years taken by the Obama family.  Judicial Watch first asked for the travel documents on February 21, 2012.

“No wonder we had to file a lawsuit in federal court and wait six months to get basic information on Michelle Obama’s luxury Aspen vacation,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The costs of the Obama family ski weekend are staggering. These high-priced luxury vacations, and the lack of transparency about them, are beginning to seem like an abuse of office.”

Judicial Watch previously obtained documents from the United States Air Force and the United States Secret Service detailing costs associated with Michelle Obama’s controversial August 2010 vacation to Spain. According to a Judicial Watch analysis, the records indicate a total combined cost of at least $467,585.

Judicial Watch also obtained documents detailing costs a June 21-27, 2011, trip taken by Michelle Obama, her family and her staff to South Africa and Botswana. Judicial Watch received mission expense records and passenger manifests for the Africa trip that described costs of $424,142 for the flight and crew alone. Other expenses, such as off-flight food, transportation, security, etc. were not included.

How Do You Justify This? Fed’s Say Foodstamps Good For The Economy.

How Do You Justify This? Fed’s Say Foodstamps Good For The Economy.

Who the fuck pays for it? Hello!

There are going to be the people who REALLY need this program. But check out the video..these guys seem healthy enough to get a job. Read the justification after the video..if you can stomach reading it.

The federal government has been making the case that, with food stamps, “everyone wins,” according to literature meant to promote the federal social welfare program. The argument is that accepting food stamp benefits helps to promote economic growth for the communities hosting those recipients.

“Each $5 dollars in new SNAP benefits generates almost twice that amount in economic activity for the community,” states the federal government pamphlet. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the official name of the food stamps program. “Everyone wins when eligible people take advantage of benefits to which they are entitled,” states the pamphlet, which is written and distributed by the United States Department of Agriculture, the federal entity responsible for the program.
“Even a small increase in SNAP participation can have a substantial impact,” the website states. “If the national participation rate rose 5 percentage points, 1.9 million more low-income people would have an additional $1.3 billion in benefits per year to use to purchase healthy foodand $2.5 billion total in new economic activity would be generated nationwide.”

The key here is that the federal government is encouraging greater, not less, participation in the program. And under a section titled, “Why does increasing participation in SNAP make sense for your community?,” the government states:

SNAP Generates Economic Activity

SNAP brings Federal dollars into communities in the form of benefits which are redeemed by SNAP participants at local stores. These benefits ripple throughout the economies of the community, State, and Nation. For example:

Every $5 in new SNAP benefits generates a total of $9.20 in community spending.
Every additional dollar’s worth of SNAP benefits generates 17 to 47 cents of new spending on food.
On average, $1 billion of retail food demand by SNAP recipients generates 3,300 farm jobs.

In fiscal year 2009, the average monthly SNAP benefit per household was approximately $272. These benefits, funded by Federal dollars, create business when they are redeemed at your local food retailers. Eighty-six percent of benefits, totaling $25 billion, were redeemed at the nation’s 35,000 supermarkets. The remaining benefits, totaling $3.6 billion, contribute to the viability of 121,000 other firms which include grocery stores, convenience stores, combination stores, farmer’s markets, and other retail food stores; plus wholesalers and meal services.

And another USDA food stamps document,  ironically titled “Building a Healthy America: A Profile of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program,” suggests that despite some people not wanting to participate in the program due to “a sense that benefits are not needed,” more people should change their mind–and sign up for the social welfare program.

Why Did Romney Speak At The NAACP?

Why Did Romney Speak At The NAACP?

I have been trying to wrap my head around what benefit he would get by speaking in this hostile environment. After hearing all of the race baiters and Obama apologists out there, I think I get it.
Basically a brilliant move to show that he is concerned about the plight of the african american who is being pigeon holed into poverty by handouts that they gladly accept and become reliant on.

Sometimes the truth hurts and the NAACP has become complicit in its empowerment of the nanny state. They should be all hands on deck trying to solve the problem of minority poverty and unemployment, yet when faced with th truth, they boo and lash out to the bootlicking liberal media. shameful really.
A few examples:

If I were a political cynic, I’d wonder whether the Romney campaign wanted to be booed at NAACP. After the speech, Mayor Kasim Reed of Atlanta, an Obama supporter, said that was exactly the point. Romney’s aim, he said, was to appear as a bold leader who could tell hard truths. “I think his statement was more a political stunt,” Reed said.

Julian Bond, the noted civil rights leader and former head of the NAACP, echoed the legislators, telling HuffPost, “He is definitely not his father.” Bond said he did not see Romney’s appearance as genuine outreach to the African American community.
“He went there to bait us,” Bond said. He argued that Romney deliberately sparked boos by referring to “Obamacare,” which Bond said many African Americans regard as pejorative.
“He wanted to be able to go to some of the independents he needs to get elected and tell them, ‘See? I stood up to the Negroes,’Bond said.

Last night on MSNBC, host Lawrence O’Donnell said that Romney’s NAACP speech was part of a Republican ‘southern strategy’ used to appeal to ‘racial and racist voting.’ Speaking to TheGrio.com’s Goldie Taylor, O’Donnell said, “Tell me, Goldie, if I’m being too cynical, to think that the Romney campaign actually went in that room today with the hope of getting booed, at least three times, because they want the video of their candidate being booed by the NAACP to play in certain racist precincts where that will actually help them.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Wednesday that Mitt Romney made a “calculated move” to get booed during his address earlier in the day before the NAACP.

I think it was a calculated move on his part to get booed at the NAACP convention,” she told Bloomberg TV.

Clayola Brown, the member of the NAACP’s National Board of Directors who invited Romney to speak, said the presumptive Republican presidential nominee should not have used unemployment numbers to try to turn the crowd against Obama.

“It was insensitive and quite demeaning as a matter of fact,” Brown told The Washington Examiner after Romney exited the stage. “Certainly we are aware of what the numbers are and the impact is in our communities. It’s the dialogue used that we find insulting.”
