Economics 101

Economics 101

Just want to give a shout out to NJ for raising the minimum wage. Now the place I worked last summer can’t bring me back in the winter because they have to account for increased labor costs.
I post about the minimum wage all the time and tell people that it’s detrimental, well now I’ve got a credit card to pay off and needed to work this winter but can’t.
Thanks a lot you economically illiterate fucks.

Elections Mean Nothing, We Are On Our Own

Elections Mean Nothing, We Are On Our Own

I guess we should have seen this coming, when Ryans butt buddy Eric Cantor was kicked to the curb defeated by a Tea Party challenger, establishment Republicans circled the wagons, they saved McConnell who was on a similar path to defeat and by keeping the blubbering Boehner in place to play patty cake with their Democratic brunch dates, they ensured Republicans would tow the line by extortion of committee positions and burying house votes.
It was pay back time for the dumb conservative bitter clingers who thought the system worked and their votes count.

When you have abandoned by the people who put you in power, don’t be surprised when they don’t vote for you again. Once bitten twice shy, time for a change.

“That is where the stupidity, or what appears to be stupidity, comes on scene. On the one hand, the party needs to win elections and that means appealing to those rubes they detest. On the other hand, they are compelled by tradition and sentiment to appeal to their analogs in the other party. As the Chinese say, a man who chases two rabbits catches none. In the case of the GOP, they just look like feckless idiots.

An hilarious example is conservative media darling Marco Rubio. He is being flayed over his open borders fanaticism and the deep suspicion he is Chuck Schumer’s rentboy. He’s being whipsawed by the phony-baloney adulation from “conservatives” and the hostility from the rank and file, who despise his open borders treachery. To use a crude expression, he does not know whether to shit or go blind.

Compounding his dilemma is the fact that he is as dumb as a goldfish. I’m fond of calling Rubio Ms. South Carolina with a penis. No, that’s not a link to Lindsay Graham’s website. Rubio gets by on his looks and charm, which is fine if you’re selling Cadillacs in Boca Raton, but it is a liability when trying to run for President in these crisis times for the party.

That’s why Rubio skipped the vote on the budget bill. There’s no safe answer so he spent the day playing Halo and listening to hip-hop. That non-vote just ended his career as a politician. Who will vote for him now? His presidential campaign will now collapse and he has already decided to give up his Senate seat. He’ll land in some lobbying gig or in a no-show Wall Street job, but he is finished as a politician.

That is the fate awaiting his party.”               Keep Reading….

Omnibus Shmomnibus….Shut Up And Pay Your Taxes

Omnibus Shmomnibus….Shut Up And Pay Your Taxes

If I have this right:

We needed to quadruple the number of H2B visas because we needed far more nonagricultural, low-skill, low-wage workers coming into the country. H2B visas are granted for jobs like “amusement park worker.”

We’ll make our poor people poorer, and our Middle Class poorer, all to give Disney a 25 cent boost on the stock market, and import more non-Americans to replace American workers. (And eventually, when those non-Americans get comfortable and begin demanding American-style wages – we’ll have to import fresh non-Americans to replace them.)

This is the Republican Way of Doing Business, and if you have a problem with any of this, you’re a goddamned extremist and racist who should be shat upon.

And somehow, somehow, after fucking over every working class and Middle Class voter in America, the GOP predicts… it will somehow pick up a Senate seat here or there, and then we’ll get Supreme Court justices.

So drink up! This is the Golden Age of Republican Incompetency and Corruption.

There have been previous high points of Republican incompetency and corruption — but this age is truly one of miracles and wonders.

Republicans Gone Wild

Republicans Gone Wild

It’s stunning to think that we need to elect a conservative Republican President to stop….Republicans. We didn’t give the House and Senate to these people only to give Democrats everything they want, they were elected to stop liberal Democratic agendas in their tracks. Ryan’s omnibus spending bill does nothing to stop them, quite the contrary, it pays for them.

At this point and time there are no distinguishable differences between Establishment Republicans and Democrats.Ryan

Paul Ryan’s first deal is just like John Boehner’s old ones.

The agreement Ryan reached with fellow congressional negotiators also looks much like one Boehner would have reached: Each side scores some points, but Republican congressional majorities again will fail to deliver a high-profile, base-pumping, ideological victory over some nefarious aspect of the “Obama agenda” on which conservatives had drawn a red line. Will this land Ryan in the same hot water that eventually cooked Boehner? He’ll get a pass, for now.

Language restricting Syrian and Iraqi refugee resettlement, defunding Planned Parenthood, or blocking President Obama’s executive actions on immigration will not be included.

All Hail Diversity

All Hail Diversity

I was going through a few of my daily reads when I noticed this story from Boston. It wasn’t the fact that a woman shoved another woman down a flight of stairs, it was the fact that one was a Nigerian, the other a Muslim, and the punishment handed down was by a moonbat judge of Asian decent.

After a landlord was convicted of pushing her Muslim tenant down a flight of stairs, a judge ordered her to respect the rights of all Muslims and to take an introductory course on Islam. …

The case centers on Daisy Obi, a 73-year-old ordained minister from Nigeria who is the pastor of the Adonai Bible Center in Somerville, just north of Boston. In April 2012, Obi rented an apartment in her multi-family home to Gihan Suliman, her husband and five young children.

Turns out that was a big mistake.

Suliman complained about the heat and electricity not always working, while Obi complained Suliman appeared to have 12 to 15 people living in the apartment at one point.

Suliman says Obi made Islamophobic remarks.

Then, about a month later, Suliman said Obi accused her of ringing her doorbell, shouted at her and pushed her. Suliman said she fell backward down 15 to 20 stairs, hitting her face on the banister, cutting her lip and tearing a ligament in her shoulder.

Obi denies everything, both the forbidden remarks and the pushing. However,

Judge Paul Yee Jr. called Obi “the landlord from hell”, “I want you to learn about the Muslim faith,” he said. “I want you to enroll and attend an introductory course on Islam.”    Keep reading…..

Now I’m sure any day of the week you can find a white on white trash or black on black story like this, I just found the three names to be ironic. Nothing to see here, enjoy your diversity America.

This Can’t Be The New Normal

This Can’t Be The New Normal

An email….from Germany….shuts down all Los Angeles schools.

Considering events in Paris and San Bernadino and the various other bomb threats around the country, one would think it prudent to shut down all the LA schools. I would agree. What we shouldn’t agree too and should demand from our elected officials is this won’t tolerated as the new normal. Americans can’t live in fear everyday that somewhere in the United States some crazy rag head is calling in a threat or is actually going to kill someone.

So how do you stop it? I guess it would begin with profiling Muslims, all of them. These acts aren’t being perpetrated by Branch Davidians or the Amish, this is being done by one specific group of people, Muslims. There may be good ones and there seems to be a shitload of bad ones, but trying to figure out who is who is the proverbial needle in the haystack. So lets shred the hay and eliminate the needle.

If we are truly at war with Islamic extremist then all the rules of war should be used to win. Germans and Japanese were placed in internment camps during World War II, which was harsh, but America did what it needed to do to ensure it’s safety.  I think America has evolved enough that camps would not be necessary, but removing threats from our homeland should not be off the table. Which means every Muslim that is not an American citizen should be sent back to their home countries until such time as the United States sees fit to allow the programs to continue.

Refugees, students, doctors, professors, scientists, and tech workers would be sent back from whence they came, all visas hereby terminated no more available. It may seem rude but it would eliminate the threat from that block of people. This is no time to fuck around here, daily threats or actual terrorism cannot be held as normal in this country, and until someone is willing to be tough on terrorism then it will continue and we will hear daily reports of bombs or killings. That’s not the America I grew up in and it’s damn sure not the one I want my grandkids living in.

The American Muslim population would then be scrutinized. Mosques and social media would analyzed, finances reported, mandatory allegiance to the United States forms signed, and other breaches of privacy. The programs would have a sunset date on them so any President can discontinue them when the threat has been extinguished. This might just get the “moderate” Muslims alerting authorities to potential threats in their ranks. Yep, it’s unconstitutional, but so is taking another persons life because they don’t believe as your people do.

If this does not stop the terror, start building new camps. If we can’t trust them, we would have to contain them. But at least Americans could feel relatively safe in the knowledge that we did not accept terror as the new normal in this country.

And if you think this is hate speech, you’re a part of the problem.

Were screwed. They should all be run out on a rail along with their leader.
