Rule 308

Rule 308

From 2012:

The ferocity of the counter-attack took us all by surprise.

Even Dennis. The original arrest list, derived from cutting-edge SNA, was a great success as far as it went, especially in spurring the rest of his “action-reaction calculations.” It sure provoked a reaction, anyway. But at a level that none of us ever anticipated or even dreamed possible.

Dennis had always assumed that the combined might of our armed federal agents and their SWAT Teams, reinforced with local police and, if necessary, the National Guard or even the Army, could crush any conceivable right-wing reaction to his plan. But social network analysis couldn’t find snipers who were not part of any network. That’s when we began to hear of “The Militia of One.” In the end there were too many rifles, and too many willing shooters. A number that was constantly heard was twenty million. That was the number of Americans who supposedly went deer hunting every year, against less than 200,000 armed federal agents.

Local police evaporated from the equation once the going got tough. The most common sentiment heard expressed was, “You feds made your bed, so now sleep on it.” The National Guard, those units not already deployed overseas, proved hopelessly slow and cumbersome. That is, the few who reported for duty when called up.

When The Lights Go Out

When The Lights Go Out

From 2013:

When the power went out and the panic stampede for the last food commenced, all the fault lines ruptured at once. The government, from local to federal, never had a prayer of containing the explosion of violence and destruction that accompanied the Great Starvation.

The horror was totally unimaginable even a week before the screens went dark and everything in our world went haywire. Unimaginable because the ubiquitous entertainment screens were perfect for one thing (and they kept this distinction right to the end): distracting the masses. Better than any mule’s blinkers, the pleasure screens both attracted the eyes and fed the mind happy messages. Whatever you wanted, they were serving it 24/7 on a thousand television channels and a million interactive websites. Pick your poison. Entertain yourself to death.

What was the name of that pop star vixen at the last Super Bowl? She was wearing a dominatrix outfit with shiny sharpened rivets in the usual places. And where did she come by her Aldous Huxley, singing “hug me till you drug me, kiss me till I’m in a coma,” nearly word for word from Huxley’s Brave New World? No doubt she’d never read a book in her life, much less that one.

Health Care Costs And Obamacare Repeal

Health Care Costs And Obamacare Repeal

Republican politicians are beginning work replacing Obamacare with something else, a new variant of tax credits or some vague benefit for healthcare savings accounts.

Many had thought Congressional Republicans were investing too much time and energy grandstanding Obamacare repeal, and not enough developing a credible alternative.

That may have changed with the selection of four Committee Chairman to the Health Care Reform Task Force. They are: Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price (R-GA), Education & the Workforce Committee Chairman John Kline (R-MN), Energy & Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI), and Ways & Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX).

That’s all well and fine and in the end I’m sure these politicians think they are doing the right thing. My issue with health insurance isn’t about finding the replacement for Obamacare, it’s making it affordable for the individual. There are millions who can’t afford a mortgage payment disguised as a health insurance premium and that’s what needs to be fixed, fiddling around with the tax credits won’t help anyone if they are paying for premiums instead of food.

Both Price’s and Upton’s proposals would get rid of Obamacare’s poorly functioning exchanges and federal over regulation of health insurance. However, it is important to understand that Obamacare’s poorly designed tax credits can be reformed along the lines Price or Upton propose without complete repeal of Obamacare.

Nobody anticipates a Republican super-majority in the Senate in 2017, which means compromises will be necessary. The House Republican Health Reform Task Force would be well advised to consider Dr. Price’s tax credits as a primary position, and Mr. Upton’s as a fallback. here….

Now you see the cracks in these political plans, they are already making excuses why they may keep parts of Obamacare because they will be squabbling with the other party over how best to screw over the middle class. You see they don’t understand the problem, $1200 a month to them is a small amount of money but it’s a huge amount to someone making $70,000 a year, and that income is taxed so you have already been bent over by the federal and state governments long before the health insurance premium needs to be paid.

Federal and State employees have government funded health insurance, Senators and Congressman make six figure incomes subsidized by whatever corrupt graft they can get in the lobby black market money. These people don’t understand the middle class, they understand how to give out billions to the poor, they understand how to hob knob with their fellow blue bloods, but as far that group of working class people in the $50,000 to $70,000 range they don’t have a clue, yet that is the first group be cut out of tax credits  subsidized premiums in Obamacare.

Make it cheaper you ass hats, let the market place dictate premiums across state lines, fiddling around with an Obamacare replacement is trying to throw us a bone. Get rid of Obamacare completely and allow the market to be competitive, I don’t need your tax credit crumbs I need insurance I can afford without being penalized for not having insurance that I can’t afford anyway….fucknuts…..that is is all.

Talking Monkeys

Talking Monkeys

The reality is a race (is race the right word?) of super intelligent robots would quickly lose interest in humans. From the perspective of the robots, humans would be as interesting to them as ants are to us. Maybe a few weirdo robots would make a hobby of studying us, but otherwise, the robots would have bigger fish to fry. Assuming an ever accelerating evolution of their intelligence, the robots will depart soon after they become aware. The universe is just too big and interesting to hang around with the talking monkeys.

Used Car Sales

Used Car Sales

I acknowledged that Trump was running for President, I cringed as he spoke in debates and interviews, I hoped for some kind of substance, I wanted a reason to get on board the train but after last nights debate…..the train has left the station without me.

I tried I really did, but when you want to buy a new Cadillac and the salesman is trying to talk you into a Yugo you question the mans sanity.

TRUMP

Trump is not just a liberal posing as a Republican. He is a moonbat posing as an American.

While Bush 43 was taking the fight to the terrorists and American troops were in harm’s way, the Donald was yelping about impeachment. When the Tea Party reached full steam, he was praising Obama and denouncing America for being racist. Now he’s back to echoing Michael Moore propaganda regarding the Iraq War and 9/11.

Anyone with right-of-center politics who supports Donald Trump has been duped. The guy is a talented salesman. But now the mask is off, so there is no excuse not to acknowledge the mistake.   Keep reading….

Poking The Bear

Poking The Bear

You know the liberal mantra “never let a crisis go to waste”, with Scalia passing away it gives Jughead a chance to poke a stick in the eye of America.

Holder would never get past congress but Napolitano could, and she did more to help Obama’s executive amnesty as anyone.

Wasted Away Again in New Hampshire

Wasted Away Again in New Hampshire

What did we learn from the New Hampshire primary? Nothing really.

1 – How does an immensely bland character like Kasich take second? Kasich may get a bump but he will never beat the big three the rest of the way, so his silver medal in New Hampshire accounts for…..nothing really.

2 – How does political bench warmer Bush tie with Cruz and Rubio? He got smoked in Iowa, spent millions in New Hampshire, his and Kasich’s delegate count combined doesn’t top Cruz or come close to Trump. So what to make of the three way tie in NH…nothing really.

3 – How does the old socialist wax Shillary and still get less delegates? Bernie took the witch to the wood shed and the landslide should have given him a lead in the delegate count but due to DNC rules super delegates get to choose their own candidate regardless of the popular vote, so Hillary gets 15, Bernie gets 13. What did his landslide mean…nothing really.

I don’t know the politics in New Hampshire but they seem to be a confused lot.
