I for one have had a gut full of this GOP smarmy bullshit. Time and again we watch as these asshats banter on about standing their ground and not caving into left wing democratic demands. Alas, the rats are swimming for higher ground. Time for the third party  Tea Party to stand up and be counted.

Members of Congress have been on recess for only a few days, but it already seems the time away from Washington means more support for a pathway to citizenship among some Republicans.

In the past few days, two Republican members of the House of Representatives — Daniel Webster in Florida, Aaron Schock in Illinois — have expressed preliminary support for a way to legalize undocumented immigrants and allow them to eventually earn full citizenship. Even the House GOP whip, Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), announced support for legal status, although he stopped just short of supporting full citizenship.

THE PRESIDENT:  If we don’t deepen our ports all along the Gulf — places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida — if we don’t do that, those ships are going to go someplace else.  And we’ll lose jobs.  Businesses won’t locate here.

If Zimmerman were found guilty do you think we would be climbing all over the media in protest? Remember the O.J. verdict, yeah, me too.

This son of a bitch killed Americans on a military base and they allow him to where a military uniform with a United States flag? He should be in a straight jacket with a gag. What is wrong with this country? It was bad enough a known terrorist act is called work force violence, but they allow this monster to where a uniform of the United States military? Actor Matt Damon is a strong supporter of America’s public schools. Just two years ago, the star spoke passionately about the importance of public schools at a Washington DC “Save our Schools” rally. In fact, the actor is so impressed with public school teachers that he has demanded they receive a pay raise. That passion and conviction, however, does not apply to Damon’s own children who willnot be enrolled into the Los Angeles public school system.

In an interview with the Guardian published Saturday, Damon revealed that he had just moved to Los Angeles from New York, but that he didn’t “have a choice” when it came to putting his four daughters into private schools.  The multi-millionaire did say that it was “a major moral dilemma” and then made the bizarre excuse that the public schools aren’t “progressive” enough.

This would probably mark the first time anyone has ever complained that America’s public schools, especially in Los Angeles, aren’t left-wing enough.

The Guardian interview is part of the 42 year-old actors promotional tour for his upcoming sci-fi tentpole “Elysium,” which opens Friday.

According to early reviews, “Elysium” is a big-budget action film that condemns a future Los Angeles where the super-rich use their wealth and privilege to separate themselves and their families from the city’s poor.

Nice, that kind of movie should pull the country together…assholes.
