I must be missing something. We have laws to keep illegal immigrants, terrorists, and drug dealers out of country. This judge determines that we are discriminating against minorities? Using that logic, Russians going into Crimea would be discriminating.
They want to pass amnesty and the GOP is falling in love with the “Hispanic vote”, but numero uno should be secure borders. Period!!
Shredding The Second

You may say to yourself, “As long as you obey the law it is not a problem. These isolated issues are just that.” That’s not the concern. The trajectory is the concern. A century ago the average American rarely bumped against agent of the national government. The Post Office was his only regular interface with Washington. He infrequently had dealings with his local government. Today, everyone of us bumps against government at all levels We must get permission for everything we do now.

Rangel Shows His True Colors…Again
Once again it’s past time for an IQ test for these asshats. One, he is racist towards whites, two, he never lived in the south. Born and raised in Harlem New York. So what in the hell does he know about anything he is spewing other than what he has read.
Mr. Rangel proceeded to get even more direct, calling Tea Party members “mean, racist people” who still cherish the Confederate flag.
Wrong, I am from the west and have no reason to cherish any other flag than the American flag. And I am a proud Tea Party member.
“They are mean, racist people. Now why do I say that? Because in those red states, they’re the same slave-holding states. They had the Confederate flag. They became Dixiecrats; they had the Confederate flag. They’re now the Tea Party; they still got the Confederate [flag]. I don’t think that’s a coincidence,” he continued. “There is nothing the president can do–not love of country, not love of party–that they’re not prepared to kill themselves to get to him.”
The only thing that is not a coincidence is him race baiting for the millionth time.
Mr. Rangel is no stranger to castigating Tea Party activists in the strongest terms. Last year the outspoken congressman declared them to be “the same group we faced in the South with those white crackers and the dogs and the police.”

I Lost Count Of The Lies
Offering illegal immigrants Obamacare after the he stated in his 2009 State of the Union address that illegals would not be eligible is another impeachable lie. You remember the Joe Wilson “You Lie!” dust up don’t ya?
President Obama on Tuesday sought to assure legal immigrants that they can sign up for ObamaCare without worrying that “the immigration people” will come for family members who are in the country illegally. In an interview with Univision Deportes, a Spanish-language sports radio show, Obama said immigration officials won’t have access to the personal information that consumers provide when signing up for healthcare on the new exchanges.
“Well, the main thing for people to know is that any information you get, you know, asked with respect to buying insurance, does not have anything to do with … the rules governing immigration,” Obama said. “And you know, you can qualify if you’re a legal resident, if you are … legally present in the United States. You know, if you have a family where some people are citizens or legally here, and others are not documented, the immigration people will never get that information.”
“You know, you will qualify, you know, regardless of what your family’s status is,” Obama said on Tuesday. “So, you know, people should not hold back just because they’re in a mixed-family status.”

The Cost Of Participation Trophies
In a land where everything is made to be fair and equal, we have destroyed the most important thing we had, our kids.
In late 1964 I got to my small Southern college, Hampden-Sydney, which had average pre-dumbing-down SATs a little above 1100, the students being mostly boys from small towns all over Virginia. I remember that in freshman chem, the expectation was that everyone knew all of the above. Knew it cold. We did. Bad grammar would in no course have been tolerated. Students were assumed ready for freshman calculus. The college offered remedial nothing. If you couldn’t do the work you belonged somewhere else, and shortly were.
2014 – Pass is pass and fail is pass. Unprepared individuals wasting the time of educators.
It was not an elite college. We were not elite students. As freshmen, we were only a summer further along than seniors at Murry Bergtraum HS for Business Careers.
Really nothing to see here, it was called a normal education in 1964.
What am I, and people my age, supposed to feel other than raw contempt for pig-ignorant, self-righteous, utterly useless illiterates whom society will have to feed and house like barnyard animals for the next fifty years?

Obama’s Blinders
It was thought that the 21st century ushered in a new era in which mankind had evolved beyond war and conflict. Indeed, Obama ran for president on the contention that terrorism was now a law enforcement problem, a fact his simian predecessor did not grasp, but which he would put to rights by making the military an enforcer of international legal norms.
There was nothing odd in this. It was consistent with the view that mankind had entered a kind of post-historical phase, where no one, not even Vladimir Putin, could possibly revert to the 19th century mode any more. In this brave new world, the only problems left to fix were Global Warming and establishing Universal Health Care. In line with that enlightened view Europe not only neglected its defense, it acted as if none was necessary. With the old demons dead, instead of a conquering Army the EU sent the Eastern Partnership towards the borders of the old USSR with a mandate to bring all of the former Soviet satellites into its fold by offering them trade agreements and aid.
Yes Mr. Obama, we are not in Kansas anymore.
President Obama openly campaigned for “a world without nuclear weapons”. Revealing his vision he promised to cancel “unproven defense systems” and stop spending on all “future combat systems”. “You know where I stand,” he declared. He stood before the threshold of a shimmering new prospect. Indeed his re-election slogan for 2012 was that Detroit was alive and Osama bin Laden was dead.
It was a wonderful vision marred only by the sad fact that it didn’t pan out. Detroit is dead and Osama bin Laden’s ghost was probably at the controls of MH370. Other misfortunes have raised further doubts. Obama’s partner for peace, the object of his reset, the linchpin of his “world without nuclear weapons”, Vladimir Putin — is about to invade, nay has actually invaded — Ukraine. And the International Community is in shock.
The fact that Russia is still a geo-political enemy was lost on Obama, and the media skewered Romney for saying so.
But is this the real world?
What if Obama’s core assumptions are wrong in themselves; not just slightly wrong but completely, utterly and comprehensively wrong? That is the unthinkable possibility which ordinary voters would never believe their leaders to be capable of. We may think of our leaders fallible; as capable of occasional error, but it is hard to accept them as completely and ridiculously fatuous. more here

Something Western Leaders Don’t Understand
When it comes to the Russian/Ukraine dust up consider this:
In the competition with Putin, the West’s inability to see his motives through his eyes is leading to one error after another. John Kerry throws a temper tantrum thinking it will have the same effect it has when he does not get seated on time at the club. Instead Putin sees a weak, feckless man who is no threat to him. In Obama, he probably sees a guileless provincial surrounded by equally inept courtiers. The fact that Obama and his people cannot imagine that being the case means we have informational disequilibrium.
Short sighted people being one upped by a leader with an actual plan, not just reactionary politics. Got to hand it to Putin, he knows what he is doing. Short term loss with the vision of long term gain using Russian “love of country” as an his mantra.
In foreign policy, this new morality is at the heart of our troubles with Russia. Putin and his coevals running Russia reject the materialism of the West, despite living like medieval royalty. They look at the Crimea as a part of their cultural history and a part of their patrimony. It is a part of what they hope will be their shadow, in which future generations will stand. That changes their cost benefit analysis. Russia is willing to lose a lot to get what to Western minds has limited value. The West wants Ukraine in the Euro so their bankers can loot what little remains in Ukraine. Russia wants it in their orbit because it defines who they are as Russians. more here
What A Small World
Back in 1969, a group of Black Panthers decided that a fellow black panther named Alex Rackley needed to die. Rackley was suspected of disloyalty. Rackley was first tied to a chair. Once safely immobilized, his friends tortured him for hours by, among other things, pouring boiling water on him.
When they got tired of torturing Rackley, Black Panther member, Warren Kimbro took Rackley outside and put a bullet in his head. Rackley’s body was later found floating in a river about 25 miles north of New Haven, Connecticut. 
In 1977, that’s only eight years later, only one of the killers was still in jail.
The shooter, Warren Kimbro, managed to get a scholarship to Harvard and became good friends with none other than Al Gore. He later became an assistant dean at an Eastern Connecticut State College.
Isn’t that something!!! As a ’60s radical you can pump a bullet into someone’s head and a few years later, in the same state, you can be
come an assistant college dean! Erica Huggins was the woman who served the Panthers by boiling the water for Mr. Rackley’s torture . Some years later, Ms. Huggins was elected to a California School Board.
How in the world do you think these killers got off so easily? Maybe it was in some part due to the efforts of two people who came to the defense of the Panthers. These two people actually went so far as to shut down Yale University with demonstrations in defense of the accused Black Panthers during their trial.
One of these people was none other than Bill Lan Lee. Mr. Lee, or Mr. Lan Lee, as the case may be, isn’t a college dean. He isn’t a member of a California School Board. He is now head of the United States Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, appointed by none other than Bill Clinton. O.K., so who was the other Panther defender? Is this other notable Panther defender now a school board member? Is this other Panther apologist now an assistant college dean? No, neither!
The other Panther defender was, like Lee, a radical law student at Yale University at the time. She’s now known as The “smartest woman in the world.” She’s none other than the former Democratic senator from the State of New York – – our former First Lady, and the Secretary of State, the incredible Hillary Rodham Clinton.
