The executive branch of UC Irvine’s student government vetoed a ban today on national flags in the university’s student government offices. …
The university’s administration issued a statement prior to today’s vote calling the decision to ban flags “misguided” and urging a veto.
“The views of a handful of students passing a resolution do not represent the opinions of the nearly 30,000 students on this campus, and have no influence on the policies and practices of the university,” the statement read.
I think it is getting close. That point in time where revolution is no longer a notion for future generations but a reality to be faced in the next few years not decades. Removing the American Flag where I come from is grounds for an ass kickin’.
The Associated Students of University of California, Irvine (ASUCI) voted Tuesday to remove all flags, including American flags, from an inclusive space on campus because of their offensive nature.
The bill, R50-70, was authored by Social Ecology Representative Matthew Guevara, and accuses all flags, especially, the American flag, of being “symbols of patriotism or weapons for nationalism.”
“[F]lags construct paradigms of conformity and sets [sic] homogenized standards for others to obtain which in this country typically are idolized as freedom, equality, and democracy,” the bill reads.
The legislation argues that flags may be interpreted differently; the American flag, for example, can represent “American exceptionalism and superiority,” as well as oppression.
“[T]he American flag has been flown in instances of colonialism and imperialism,” the bill continues, arguing that “symbolism has negative and positive aspects that are interpreted differently by individuals.” Here

Boehner has got to be replaced, if we can’t get rid of Obama, we don’t need a GOP majority pressing his agenda for him. What good did teh mid-terms do?
In recent days the illusion of loyalty to the GOP has been discarded as Boehner apparently plotted with Nancy Pelosi to ensure funding for Obama’s Executive Amnesty plan was passed by the House with a majority of Republicans voting against it.
What did Boehner get in return? Democrats are now openly pledging their support for Speaker Boehner in the event Republicans move to remove him as Speaker. Just as I predicted last December, the merger of the Democrat and Republican Party’s has begun. Here

White children will be outnumbered by minority kids in the United States in just five years, new Census Bureau projections reveal.
This is the result of an ongoing trend of declining birth among white Americans and a baby boom among immigrant groups, as well as a surge in immigration.
By the year 2020, 50.2percent of all children in the US are expected to be non-white, according to the Census. By 2044, whites will be outnumbered by minorities.
The Census study, released this week, predicts that by year 2060, nearly 20percent of the population will be foreign born – thanks to an influx of 64million new immigrants.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police say a Utah man was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after he tossed his girlfriend’s puppy from their third-floor apartment, killing it.
Authorities say the couple was fighting in a Taylorsville apartment early Wednesday morning, and the woman decided to leave.
Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal says she was on the ground floor when her boyfriend, 20-year-old Juan Anzastiga, threw the Yorkshire puppy.

The first involves the murder of a contestant from the reality show “America’s Next Top Model.” Mirjana Puhar, 19, was one of three people found dead in a drug-related killing in Charlotte, North Carolina last week.

Boehner told Republicans during a weekly conference meeting they had three options: The Senate bill; another short-term CR, which he didn’t expect Democrats to go for; or a DHS shutdown. And Boehner said he wasn’t willing to shut down DHS.

“Imagine if, God forbid, another terrorist attack hits the United States,” Boehner said, according to a source in the room.
And the chances of that get worse by the day as you allow Obama to keep the border open…dip shit.
Some Republicans balked, but there was nothing they could do. Idaho Republican Mike Simpson brought up the bill Tuesday afternoon and, after a three-way debate between moderate Republicans, conservatives and Democrats, the DHS bill passed 257-167.
For Pelosi and other Democrats, the saga’s conclusion is a victory. At a hastily-organized press conference following passage of the DHS funding bill, which won support from every House Democrat, Pelosi grinned at the microphones.

The Plan All Along
Boehner told anyone that would listen that if they pass the “cromnibus budget” with DHS funding left out, he would fight on a later date. They did, he didn’t. Don’t see much difference between Harry Reid and Boehner at this point.

Unbeknownst to the Obama officials, Ms. Payne was invited to listen in on conference calls at an immigration rally. Cecilia Munoz, director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, and 16 members of the White House cabinet were on the first call. White House officials were on all three calls. What Ms. Payne learned needs to be immediately shared with Congress and the public.
It should be noted that Ted Hayes, founder of America’s Black Shield, also listened in on these calls.
The “Task Force of New Americans” and the “Receiving Communities” are part of a plan by the Obama administration to develop a “country within a country” which will eventually form a new, and instantly fundamentally transformed United States.
The conference calls and meetings surrounding the task force made it clear Barack Obama is planning to legalize and protect 13 to 15 million illegal immigrants who will then be moved onto citizenship.
When these “new Americans” come out of the shadows, the communities in which they’ve been placed will be designated as “receiving communities.”
The “new Americans” are considered “seedlings” by the White House and the “receiving communities” are the “fertile ground” to nurture them, according to comments made during the meetings.
Citizens will then be pushed into the shadows as the “New Americans” come out of the shadows.
One member of the task force said they will be forming a “country within a country”.
