One of my favorite players, a little trivia:

  • Couples enjoys a reputation for being one of the most laid-back, easygoing players on the PGA Tour. His best friend on Tour, Davis Love III, confirms this: “Everybody thinks Fred’s relaxed on the golf course, but he’s more tense on the golf course than anywhere. He’s a relaxed guy.”
  • Couples is an avid gardener. Couples learned gardening from his grandfather, who was a groundskeeper at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle.
  • Inducted into the National Italian-American Sports Hall of Fame in 2007.
  • Couples is one of few professional golfers who does not use a glove at any time.
  • Couples is a good friend of Michael Jordan and a season ticket holder for the Charlotte Bobcats, where Jordan is the majority owner.

So the Obama administration hands out $1.6 billion to Egypt and potentially to the Muslim Brotherhood who has stated that Sharia law is their ultimate goal.

Now I don’t know that much about Sharia law, but I don’t think that it empowers women.

 

 

 

 

 Obama say’s that women should be allowed membership at Augusta National Golf Club, home of The Masters.

Am I the only one that can see the irony in that? A religion that has ZERO women’s rights gets billions and a country club that has an all male membership requirement get’s vilified by Obama for not allowing women.

What? I thought Egypt does not want our stinkin’ money.
Egyptians’ opposition to U.S. economic aid continued to climb in early 2012. More than eight in 10 Egyptians in February said they opposed U.S. economic aid, up 11 percentage points since December and up 30 points since April 2011 when Gallup first posed the question.

Oh, my mistake, they do want our stinkin’ money…or else:
Earlier this week, the Muslim Brotherhood threatened to sever Egypt’s peace treaty with Israel if the United States cuts off foreign aid to Egypt. The Brotherhood’s threats are escalating a political crisis at a time when democracy in Egypt is just starting to blossom

But I thought they said they would not run a candidate for President:

Wait for it:
The Muslim Brotherhood candidate for Egypt’s presidency was cheered on by supporters on Thursday when he registered to run in an election where his main rivals will be other Islamists and candidates who served under the ousted president, Hosni Mubarak.
Khairat al-Shater, 61, a millionaire businessman and leading strategist in the Brotherhood, was named as its candidate last week in a policy reversal by the group that previously pledged it would not participate.

Surely Sharia Law would be a sticking point for Obama, ya know,considering his fight for women’s rights:
Today the Muslim Brotherhood candidate Khairat al-Shater told reporters that Sharia law would be his “first and final” objective as president.

What a bunch of bullshit! Would you trust this man and his Muslim Brotherhood ?

Amazing our complacency of outright fraud.

Sometimes the stories write themselves.  Here are the facts…

  • A Colorado-based consulting, engineering and construction firm, named CH2M Hill, was awarded nearly $2 billion from the stimulus to perform cleanup work at the Hanford nuclear site.
  • The company used those funds to hire roughly 1,300 employees.
  • They then inflated the hiring numbers by using a Department of Energy metric known as “lives touched”, which allowed them to boast that the stimulus helped somehow helped or ‘touched’ three-and-a-half times as many people as they had actually employed.
  • When the stimulus funds ran out, so did the ability to support the jobs created or lives touched.  Roughly 1,500 employees were laid off.
The Department of Labor has awarded a $1.3 million National Emergency Grant to help laid-off Hanford workers find jobs.
The largest portion of the money will be used for retraining former Hanford workers who lost their jobs as federal economic stimulus spending at the nuclear reservation came to an end.
“This grant will serve as a safety net for workers and their families during these challenging economic times,” Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., said in a statement. Murray and Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., sent a letter to Hilda Solis, the secretary of labor, in February, requesting consideration of a state application for the grant.
The money will help an estimated 400 former Hanford workers seeking jobs, giving them intensive employment-related assistance, including training, to help them re-enter the work force in areas of the economy that are growing, according to the Department of Labor…
…  The grant is intended to provide money for workers laid off from DOE Hanford prime contractors CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Co. and Mission Support Alliance and more than 10 subcontractors…
 “Workers formerly employed at the Hanford site are facing the challenge of finding jobs comparable to the ones they lost,” Solis said in a statement. “This federal grant aims to help lessen the negative impact of these layoffs.”

Natural born citizen, this just might make your day a little
brighter!!

You, who worry about democrats versus republicans — relax, here is
our real problem. In a Purdue University classroom, they were discussing
the qualifications to be President of the United States . It was pretty
simple. The candidate must be a natural born citizen of at least 35years
of age. However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair
was the requirement to be a natural born citizen. In short, her opinion was
that this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming
president. The class was taking it in and letting her rant, and not many
jaws hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating, “What makes
a natural born citizen any more qualified to lead this country than one born
by C-section?”

Yep, these are the same kinds of 18-year-olds that are now voting in
our elections!

I love this tournament and can’t wait for the televised coverage to begin. I don’t know what you may think of Tiger but he is playing well right now.
I am not a Tiger fan, I assumed that I would come around like I did with Michael Jordan. Jordan was an arrogant ass, but he walked the walk. I watched him play my NBA team live many times and he simply dismantled them all on his lonesome. I decided that I am probably watching one of the best that ever lived, and I appreciated that. Have not gotten to that with Tiger, I still think he is a jerk.

So I have  fifty bucks against a buddy. He took Tiger and Phil and I have the field against them. Good Bet?

A Government agency that is supposed to be apolitical shows it’s true colors, pardon the pun. This women, Hilda Solis, has been appointed by the POTUS to run this department as an unbiased department head of a federal agency.
How does this feel? And NO kiss!|

President Barack Obama’s labor secretary, Hilda Solis, has authorized new posters in elevators throughout the Department of Labor’s Washington, D.C. headquarters building. The posters feature a photo of her marching in protest alongside the Rev. Jesse Jackson and MSNBC television host Rev. Al Sharpton, among others.

The photo depicts Solis acting as an emissary of the Obama administration protesting against Alabama’s strict new law combating illegal immigration. Solis has her arms locked with Sharpton, and Jackson is a few feet away. The poster also carries a message for federal government employees — who are traditionally expected to be apolitical in the performance of their duties.

“Whether we take to the streets or simply do our work with integrity and commitment here at the U.S. Department of Labor,” the poster reads, above Solis’ signature, “We are all marching toward the same goals: safer workplaces, fair pay, dignity on the job, secure retirement and opportunities to make a better life. I believe in the power of collective action.

 Collective action? For Who?
