Fighting Back

Fighting Back

There are those who even now still look at things through the prism of conventional wisdom and past experience with these things. But they still do not understand that with Trump, they are dealing with someone who is just not willing to play their game by curling up into a fetal position and beg forgiveness. He fights back, twice as hard and twice as determined. The other thing lost on these people is that this is a different era. We survived an eight-year beat-down at the hands of Valerie Jarrett and Bill Ayers that was supposed to usher in the era of American decline and dissolution and the ascendancy of globalist misery or Islamic domination (and that situation is still in doubt). That was enough of a wake up call to a majority of Americans who knew that this is not the way things are supposed to be. And that is where the real hatred and enmity lies. It’s with all of us who defied their plans to enslave us (for our own good, of course) by voting for the Orange Man with the weird hair, Queens accent and love for all things truly American, decent and good.

Again, as I have said before, I think we are a nation divided and the odds of any kind of future reconciliation are very much against. The Democrat-Left created that situation since they now openly espouse a hatred for this country, people and culture and are engaged on every front in and out of government to take it down. From my perspective, I not only don’t see Trump losing in 2020 but the question is by how great a margin will be the victory? The concern is 2025 and beyond.  keep reading

Feel Good Story

Feel Good Story

It’s from June 2019 but first time I have heard of it, worth revisiting.

“Two weeks ago, my 90-year-old mother, Catherine Ritchie, was preparing herself for bed at around 9pm. After brushing her teeth and hair, she turned around to find her bed completely engulfed in flames. She made an attempt to extinguish the flames herself by throwing blankets and pillows on the fire. The smoke and heat were so overwhelming that she immediately got disoriented, gave up fighting the fire, and decided to flee. She pushed the emergency call button she wears on her necklace, called 911, and attempted to get out of her now engulfed bedroom. She walked into the closet several times thinking it was the door that leads to the hallway. It wasn’t. She couldn’t find her way out. She was stuck. Smoke everywhere.

Across the street, 4 boys saw the smoke and reflection of flames. Not an adult in sight. 4 kids who took immediate action to save an elderly woman who they couldn’t guarantee was home and who 3 of them had never even met. One started breaking the glass on the front door. One called 911. One went to the back door and began kicking it in. One went to the neighbors for an ax and help. Within minutes, a door was kicked in by a 14-year-old child who found my mother in the hallway outside of her bedroom and picked her up in his arms. Kids who are told about all the things they aren’t old enough to do saved the life of the most precious and beloved woman we know. Courageous young men. Young men who risked their own lives, their own safety, perhaps their good standing with their parents who might have chosen for them to do otherwise, and they carried my mother out of her burning home into the street, where firetrucks and ambulances would soon arrive.

Dylan Wick – 16 years old, Nick Byrd – 14 years old, Seth Byrd – 16 years old, and Wyatt Hall – 17 years old, thank you! Thank you for your selfless acts of heroism and courage. Thank you for not allowing this to be the tragic end to our mother’s amazing life. Thank you for staying with her, hugging her, and helping her feel less alone until we could get to her. Thank you for being the kind of young men who thought about another person above yourselves. Thank you for staying safe yourselves as well. Thank you to your parents who obviously raised you in such a way that lead to you making life saving and heroic decisions on behalf of someone else. Thank you for more than we know how to thank you for! We will forever be indebted to the time you bought for us and the example you set for us. God Bless each of you for being such a blessing to us.

Sincerely,

Michael Ritchie, Karen Ritchie Sontag, Pat Ritchie, Jimmy Ritchie, Kelly Ritchie, John Ritchie, Tim Ritchie, Tom Ritchie, Missy Ritchie Nicholas, Ryan Ritchie, and 42 very grateful grandchildren.”

Oklahoma woman, 90, reunites with teens who rescued her from burning home

Four Oklahoma teenage boys rescued their 90-year-old neighbor whom they had never met before from her burning home last month, saving the woman who was disoriented and unable to get out alone from a fiery demise.

Go Away Mitt, Just Go Away

Go Away Mitt, Just Go Away

I sort of hate the whole “chickenhawk” thing. Every citizen has a right to opine on the question of war and peace, DD 214 or no. There are lots of good reasons people have for not serving, and my own service was pretty much just showing up, but it’s super hard to take our ruling caste – of which Mitt is a charter member – writing checks that get cashed in our kids’ blood when they have no kin in the game. That’s especially true when out of Mitt’s 47 spawn, we will never see his sons Tagg, Tugg, Zippy, Miff, Mork, Dingus, Tugg II, or Spork rucking-up to head over to Northern Syria to fight Turkey over this esoteric border dispute.

___

It’s his weakness that really grates, the pseudo-gentlemanly submissiveness to the abuse of the elite we saw for far too long among our alleged True Conservative™ betters. We’ve learned that “being the bigger man” and not fighting back were not some sort of higher principle being put into action but were, rather, the manifestation of the weakness inherent in the conservatives of the cruise ship class. Candy Crowley humiliated him in front of the entire country and he just took it. Well, we’re sick of just taking it. He and his human puffball ilk are why we said “Ahoy” to Donald Trump.

This is what makes Mitt mad – not the depredations of the left but his rejection by the people like us, who he sucked up to in 2008 and 2012, after it became obvious what a fraud he is.    keep reading…..
