The Constant Creep Of Government
It is not surprising that government requires more and more revenue just to exist. Just take a look at a small government entity built on good intentions, but ballooned to a behemoth in just over 60 years, one generation. What will the next sixty look like?
The disability program originated in the 1950s as a means to provide support for workers over 50 who became disabled on the job and were unable to continue working in advance of retirement. The program was small, but provided critical support to workers who had been injured on the job.
As the report from Our Generation details, however, eligibility requirements have been loosened, benefits increased and the applications process cannot effectively distinguish between genuine disabilities and fraud. As a result, the program spends over $130 billion a year. That amount is more than the federal government spends on highways and transportation or education.
“Social Security Disability Insurance is meant to provide assistance to Americans who are unable to work due to physical or mental disabilities. Unfortunately, 8.9 million Americans now collect disability benefits, and this well-intentioned program has ballooned into a $135 billion bureaucracy rife with waste, fraud and abuse,” said MacMillin Slobodien, Executive Director of Our Generation.
What Have We Become?
In the rush to tax the population under the guise of social justice, we have ultimately given ourselves up to servitude. When you work for three to six months out of the year to pay government taxes, you have been pressed under the thumb of tyranny. We are a free people….free to work and pay taxes….and if you don’t pay you are fined or jailed.
I don’t mind paying my fair share, but this is ridiculous, and wait until Obamacare costs skyrocket, they will scream for more revenue in the form of higher taxes. Bank on it.
Wealth Distribution
Apparently Obama has decided to step away from his healthcare disaster and pivot to his other disaster, the US economy. And he wants to save us all by shrinking the income gap.
President Barack Obama says the income gap between America’s rich and poor is a “defining challenge of our time.”
Life isn’t fair, it never has been. In the immortal words of Judge Smails from Caddyshack:
Danny Noonan: I planned to go to law school after I graduated, but it looks like my folks won’t have enough money to put me through college.
Judge Smails: Well, the world needs ditch diggers, too.
Life isn’t about fair. They didn’t have participation trophies back in my day, being unemployed was frowned upon, being on welfare or food stamps was considered an embarrassment. If you were on some kind of disability, your family and local charities helped out. Now all of these things are a way of life. Why work when you can live fat and happy on the government dole.
Wealth distribution or “income gap equality” as Barry likes to say goes against every principle America was built upon. If you are 30 years old and working at Burger King that is what you have chosen for yourself, if you don’t like the wages, get another job.
The Obama Regime Chatter
I knew that Obama was a fraud….couldn’t prove it….he had everything sealed, forged, or some crazy alibi for his great and wonderful rise to power, but this article shines a little light on the mindset of a fake.

For four years I have been told, by those who’ve worked in the administration and those who’ve visited it as volunteers or contractors, that the Obama White House isn’t organized. It’s just full of chatter. Meetings don’t begin on time, there’s no agenda, the list of those invited seems to expand and contract at somebody’s whim. There is a tendency to speak of how a problem will look and how its appearance should be handled, as opposed to what the problem is and should be done about it. People speak airily, without point. They scroll down, see a call that has to be returned, pop out and then in again.

It’s Not The Dam Website – Part II
As mentioned in my last post on the subject of Healthcare.gov the stupid website will eventually get fixed and the Obama regime will claim victory…well:
The Obama administration claimed victory Sunday for making HealthCare.gov workable for the vast majority of users….
The agency that oversees HealthCare.gov said “we believe we have met the goal” of making the system navigable for most people, but cautioned that more problems may lie ahead.“Dramatic progress has been made,” the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) stated in a report released Sunday morning. “[But] there is more work to be done to continue to improve and enhance the website.”
There, you see what they did? They have a massive problem with the site, throw more money and experts at it, get it functional, then claim a victory as though they have accomplished something spectacular. In reality all they have done is put a band-aid on a problem that should not have happened in the first place. Now watch the media start blathering about how things have turned around and Obama is great…All Hail Obama!
Remember, Obama lied. Period!
Memorials Stay Open Through Shutdowns…..Normally
Add our military academies to the list: Prior shutdowns did not shutter intercollegiate academics and athletics. The White House has ordered them suspended, causing Army, Navy and Air Force teams (soccer, football, rugby, equestrian, debate, speech, etc.) not only barred from competition, but barred from practice too. Academy instructors have had to leave as most are not regular military. Our cadets are eating emergency stashes of extremely high calorie and high fat MREs (confirming Michelle Obama is a fraud), all because the AWOL commander in chief ordered them punished so that he might benefit from press blaming it on the House Republicans.

Let me take a few moments to simply explain what has happened in Washington DC. Once the President signs something into law, it is supposed to apply to everyone, unless that president is Obama. He has granted waivers, exemptions, and delays to his cronies and allies.
House Republicans asked that if delays, waivers, and exemptions to this “fantastic” law were good for some, they should be good for all Americans. But Obama, Reid, and Pelosi said no.
House Republicans asked that a specific 2.3% medical device tax, which is causing jobs to ship overseas, be repealed. Again, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi said no.
And now Obama is threatening to veto a measure to support veterans program spending.
Obama, the liberal media, and Democrats are lying to you America. They don’t give a damn about you, just power. Obamacare is not a law, according to our Constitutional Republic, because laws apply to everyone. But not in King Obama’s empire.
