Destroying A Country For Votes

Destroying A Country For Votes

When you live in a real country, the government is a reflection of the people. It is an extension of the people. Discussions about democracy and representative government are all fine and dandy, but they are worthless unless the government is in fact the spear and shield of the people. On the one hand it must attack those who wish to harm the people and defend against those who attack the people. Otherwise, it is not a government. It is just a way to keep people occupied with busy work.

This government, right and left, are sliding down the amnesty slope for votes. Much was made of Romney losing the Latino vote so the GOP is pushing ahead with some sort of amnesty that won’t blow them out of the conservative waters yet appease Mexicans. Democrats are going to try and shove it down our throats for a continuation of Latino backing. None of which is good for the country.

Now look whats happening, not in Tijuana, but Texas.

The first vandalized billboard off I-10 had Plata o Plomo in large black letters which translates into silver or lead. It is usually a warning targeting police or government officials in Mexico. The warning: work with a cartel and take a bribe or get a bullet. The hanging mannequin was dressed in a suit and tie.

Does that look like a safe nation to you? Obama and the left are handing over the keys to the country and this is what America has to look forward to.

“This symbol has historically been used by Mexican drug cartels to threaten or intimidate Mexican citizens, business owners and government officials; however, we have never experienced this in El Paso,” said police in a statement released to media. Keep reading

US Postal Service Loses $1.9 Billion 1st QTR 2014

US Postal Service Loses $1.9 Billion 1st QTR 2014

The Federal Government, the only institution that can lose billions of dollars and remain open for business. A private company would go under.

Privatize and shut it down.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Postal Service said Friday it lost $1.9 billion over the last three months and warned that losses would continue to mount without help from Congress.

Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe said the agency is considering its options, including negotiations with unions to reduce labor costs and another possible increase in prices. “Everything has to be on the table,” Donahoe said. Over the past six months, the Postal Service has shed about 31,000 full-time employees, consolidated 61 processing facilities, eliminated 350 delivery routes and reduced work hours in 5,000 offices. It now has the lowest number of full-time employees since 1966.

Even with all of the changes they are still in the red.

The National Association of Letter Carriers noted that the Postal Service’s operating revenue of $16.3 billion was nearly 1 percent higher than the same period last year, a sign of gradual progress in the agency’s financial picture. Fredric Rolando, the union’s president, said the improvement “shows the absurdity of taking the radical step of degrading the postal network by eliminating Saturday delivery.” “This would cost the USPS its competitive advantage, drive customers away, reduce revenue and make the Postal Service less able to adapt to an evolving society,” Rolando said.

The Week In Liberal Lies (So Far…It’s Only Monday)

Despite shrill assertions by California’s moonbat governor, LAX won’t soon be underwater after all:

An aide to Jerry Brown confirmed Wednesday that the governor was wrong when he said global warming would eventually cause rising seawater to inundate Los Angeles International Airport.

A report in the Washington Times on Monday revealed that the president and his transition team were briefed on persistent problems with care and waiting times at the VA before Obama took office in 2008.

President Barack Obama first learned of the scandal involving hospital administrators with the Department of Veterans Affairs concealing the true wait times vets faced in the press, according to a claim made by White House Press Sec. Jay Carney on Monday.

Obama is still receiving the presidential salary of $400,000 per year. Last year, he earned $394,796 in wages from the Defense Financing and Accounting Service

Obama promised last April to take a 5 percent pay cut in “solidarity” with federal employees who were furloughed as a result of the automatic budget cuts, known as the sequester.

Hillary Clinton, we now know, strongly opposed placing Boko Haram on the State Department’s official list of foreign terrorist organizations.

Michael Hirsh of Politico reports that, according to U.S. officials he spoke with, the failure to designate Boko Haram a terrorist organization was “partly rooted in a larger effort by the Obama administration to narrowly define al Qaeda and deemphasize the rise of its new affiliates, especially in Africa.”

Ten Reasons

Ten Reasons

Ten Reasons to Reject Socialism

1.  Socialism and communism are the same ideology

Communism is but an extreme form of socialism. From the ideological standpoint, there is no substantial difference between the two. In fact, the communist Soviet Union called itself the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (1922-1991) and communist China, Cuba and Vietnam define themselves as socialist nations.obama__s_pro_socialist_logo_by_conservatoons-d3ad8wf

2.  Socialism violates personal freedom

Socialism seeks to eliminate “injustice” by transferring rights and responsibilities from individuals and families to the State. In the process, socialism actually creates injustice. It destroys true liberty: the freedom to decide all matters that lie within our own competence and to follow the course shown by our reason, within the laws of morality, including the dictates of justice and charity.

3.  Socialism violates human nature

Socialism is anti-natural. It destroys personal initiative–a fruit of our intellect and free will–and replaces it with State control. It tends to totalitarianism, with its government and police repression, wherever it is implemented.

4.  Socialism violates private property

Socialism calls for “redistributing the wealth” by taking from the “rich” to give to the poor. It imposes taxes that punish those who have been able to take greater advantage of their productive talents, capacity to work or thrift. It uses taxation to promote economic and social egalitarianism, a goal that will be fully achieved, according to The Communist Manifesto, with the “abolition of private property.”

5.  Socialism opposes traditional marriage

Socialism sees no moral reason for people to restrict sex to marriage, that is, to an indissoluble union between a man and a wtumblr_n5a890a9Hi1tphfm1o1_500oman. Furthermore, socialism undermines private property, which Friedrich Engels, founder of modern socialism and communism along with Karl Marx, saw as the foundation of traditional marriage.

6.  Socialism opposes parental rights in education

Socialism has the State, and not parents, control the education of children. Almost from birth, children are to be handed over to public institutions, where they will be taught what the State wants, regardless of parental views. Evolution must be taught. School prayer must be forbidden.

7.  Socialism promotes radical equality

A supposed absolute equality among men is the fundamental assumption of socialism. Therefore, it sees any inequality as unjust in itself. Private employers are quickly portrayed as “exploiters” whose profits really belong to their employees. As a consequence, they rule out the system of wage earning.

8.  Socialism promotes atheism

Belief in God, who unlike us is infinite, omnipotent and omniscient, clashes head-on with the principle of absolute equality. Socialism therefore rejects the spiritual, claiming that only matter exists. God, the soul, and the next life are illusions according to socialism.tumblr_n4k5xowuz71rhnukoo1_500

9.  Socialism promotes relativism

For socialism there are no absolute truths or revealed morals that establish standards of conduct that apply to everyone, everywhere, and always. Everything evolves, including right and wrong, good and evil. There is no place for the Ten Commandments, neither in the private mind nor in the public square.

10.  Socialism mocks religion

According to Karl Marx, religion is “the opium of the people.” Lenin, founder of the Soviet Union, agreed: “Religion is opium for the people. Religion is a sort of spiritual booze in which the slaves of capital drown their human image, their demand for a life more or less worthy of man.”

School Diversity Evolves Backwards

School Diversity Evolves Backwards

Its not hard to understand. As minority populations expand, whites move to other locales. Pretty soon the schools resemble whatever tribe lives in the area and no amount of government social engineering can change that fact, but they will continue to shove the round peg in the square hole.

In 1954, a unanimous Supreme Court declared that racially segregated schools were inherently unequal. The Court based its decision on studies showing that “segregated schools damaged the psyches of black children and their motivation to learn.”

“Where I come from, diversity just means you have to lock your bicycle up.”— Fred Reed

It was not the Supreme Court or a conceited social commentator who revealed how diversity influences achievement. It was multiple regression and standardized tests. The National Education Association used neither when it listed four ways that a diverse student body contributes to education. According to America’s largest teacher’s union,

Diversity:

  • promotes racial tolerance,
  • contributes to the robust exchange of ideas essential to a quality system of education,
  • breaks down barriers among individuals of different races, and
  • improves academic performance.
