Welcome To The Jungles

Welcome To The Jungles

“The problems of the inner cities, of the riots and so forth, have not been closely correlated with the state of the economy.  We’ve had them when the economy was prosperous and we’ve had them when the economy was in the doldrums.  The state of the economy, in my opinion, is an excuse that is offered for these things, rather than the fundamental reason for it.  Look, how can the state of the economy be the problem…unemployment be the problem, when the immigrants from China, from Korea managed to find jobs, and get work, and get income under these circumstances?

If you establish a system under which it’s more profitable not to work than to work, then you won’t work.”  _ Milton Friedman 1993

Losing The High Ground

Losing The High Ground

“Once it’s no longer accepted that something is wrong, all the laws in the world will avail you naught. The law functions as a formal embodiment of a moral code, not as free standing substitute for it. Beating up a 96-year-old isn’t wrong because its illegal; it’s illegal because its wrong.”

It Takes A Village To Raise A Terrorist

It Takes A Village To Raise A Terrorist

ISIS can’t defeat us with terror attacks. The only hope for an enduring Islamic victory over America is through the rise of domestic groups that pledge allegiance to the Caliphate. ISIS can’t invade America. It has to be invited in. That’s what our immigration policy does.

Trump isn’t a threat to national security. Muslim immigration is.

Islamic terrorists can’t defeat us no matter how many planes they fly into buildings. But they can and will defeat us if they continue landing planes at JFK and disembarking thousands and tens of thousands of settlers who will serve as a base population for their war against America.

Muslim immigration is the Islamic State’s only hope for victory over America.         Keep Reading……

Sleepwalkers

Sleepwalkers

The Sleepwalkers’ enemies’ dispersed cells of suicidal agents continued to thrive within our cities, protected and sheltered by their relatives and fellow travelers that the Sleepwalkers had graciously assumed to be “moderate,” even loyal. They moved among us, clad in their false histories, secure in the knowledge that our own institutionalized rules of decency decreed that having the appearance of a suspect group was the surest protection against being investigated as an enemy.

190 of 200 Fired For Muslim Prayer Walk Out At Colorado Meat Plant

About 190 workers, most of them immigrants from Somalia, have been fired from a meat packing and distribution plant on Colorado’s Eastern Plains for walking off the job to protest a workplace prayer dispute. Ten days ago more than 200 workers walked off their jobs at Cargill Meat Solutions in Fort Morgan.

Some workers later returned, but the majority stayed away as representatives of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) negotiated on their behalf. On Tuesday Cargill, through its attorneys, fired the workers who were holding out, said Jaylani Hussein, a spokesman and executive director of CAIR.

“The workers were told: ‘If you want to pray, go home,’ ” Hussein said.

In the 30+ years I have been in the work force, not once….never…..ever…..did anyone ask for or expect preferential treatment because of their religious beliefs. They call it work for a reason.

You are in America now, assimilate or get the fuck out. You deserve no special treatment, you’re lucky to be here.

Cargill has a policy stating that any workers who are terminated can not reapply for a position for 6 months. CAIR continues to talk with Cargill, a teleconference is scheduled next week, and Hussein hopes that the 6-month freeze is waved and that the workers will be allowed back.

The workers continue to express their desire to be allowed a prayer break, Hussein said. “They feel missing their prayer is worse than losing their job,” Hussein said. “It’s like losing a blessing from God.”

Cargill could not be reached for comment Wednesday night. Last week, Mike Martin, director of communications for Cargill, told the Greeley Tribune that employees of all faiths are allowed to use a reflection area, but that because employees work on an assembly line only one or two at a time can use the area, to avoid slowing production.

He told the Tribune company policies had not changed.

The workers earn $14-per-hour and up, and are represented by a union, Teamsters Local 445. About 2,000 people are employed at the plant.

“These are people who want to work,” Wicks said. “If they’re allowed to return to work, we will continue to negotiate.”   Keep Reading…..

I hope the company holds it’s ground, fill the positions with Americans who would be thankful just to have a job.

Animal Crackers

Animal Crackers

My grand kids will look into a bag of animal crackers and pick out their favorite shape or color, even though they all taste the same. Republicans and Democrats want us to choose our favorite political animal cracker, they come in different shapes and colors, but in the end, they are all the same.ck244

The Left and by extension the Democrats, now embrace the same economics as the so-called Right. Both sides lust after riches in the financial markets. Both sides embrace global corporatism. The Left champions the liquidation of labor rights through advocacy of open borders. Think about that. There’s a reason it is hard to see the difference between the parties. There isn’t one.

The Left collapsed as an intellectual movement when the Cold War ended, but the Right collapsed as a pragmatic alternative. You can’t have one without the other. In a single generation, the Left has adopted the economics of the Right and the Right has adopted the politics of the Left. Neither side has a reason to exist outside of naked greed.    Keep Reading….

Economics 101

Economics 101

Just want to give a shout out to NJ for raising the minimum wage. Now the place I worked last summer can’t bring me back in the winter because they have to account for increased labor costs.
I post about the minimum wage all the time and tell people that it’s detrimental, well now I’ve got a credit card to pay off and needed to work this winter but can’t.
Thanks a lot you economically illiterate fucks.

Elections Mean Nothing, We Are On Our Own

Elections Mean Nothing, We Are On Our Own

I guess we should have seen this coming, when Ryans butt buddy Eric Cantor was kicked to the curb defeated by a Tea Party challenger, establishment Republicans circled the wagons, they saved McConnell who was on a similar path to defeat and by keeping the blubbering Boehner in place to play patty cake with their Democratic brunch dates, they ensured Republicans would tow the line by extortion of committee positions and burying house votes.
It was pay back time for the dumb conservative bitter clingers who thought the system worked and their votes count.

When you have abandoned by the people who put you in power, don’t be surprised when they don’t vote for you again. Once bitten twice shy, time for a change.

“That is where the stupidity, or what appears to be stupidity, comes on scene. On the one hand, the party needs to win elections and that means appealing to those rubes they detest. On the other hand, they are compelled by tradition and sentiment to appeal to their analogs in the other party. As the Chinese say, a man who chases two rabbits catches none. In the case of the GOP, they just look like feckless idiots.

An hilarious example is conservative media darling Marco Rubio. He is being flayed over his open borders fanaticism and the deep suspicion he is Chuck Schumer’s rentboy. He’s being whipsawed by the phony-baloney adulation from “conservatives” and the hostility from the rank and file, who despise his open borders treachery. To use a crude expression, he does not know whether to shit or go blind.

Compounding his dilemma is the fact that he is as dumb as a goldfish. I’m fond of calling Rubio Ms. South Carolina with a penis. No, that’s not a link to Lindsay Graham’s website. Rubio gets by on his looks and charm, which is fine if you’re selling Cadillacs in Boca Raton, but it is a liability when trying to run for President in these crisis times for the party.

That’s why Rubio skipped the vote on the budget bill. There’s no safe answer so he spent the day playing Halo and listening to hip-hop. That non-vote just ended his career as a politician. Who will vote for him now? His presidential campaign will now collapse and he has already decided to give up his Senate seat. He’ll land in some lobbying gig or in a no-show Wall Street job, but he is finished as a politician.

That is the fate awaiting his party.”               Keep Reading….
