Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said he hopes President Obama will review possible administrative actions to halt the deportations of illegal immigrants now that reform legislation has stalled in Congress.
“I would hope that administratively, the president will do what he can to take a look at deportations, but he is being burdened by the law as it exists and we need to change it,” Reid told the Las Vegas Review Journal.
No shit Sherlock. The law was conceived and written by congress to hinder illegals staying in country illegally. Whether or not the law works is a different story, but like you Democrats love to say “it is the law of the land”.

High level sources have informed Yellowhammer News that Remington, one of the world’s largest gun manufacturers, will on Monday join Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley in announcing that they are bringing over 2,000 jobs to Alabama.
The company is viewing the move into Alabama as an expansion, but it will likely impact their Ilion, NY plant as well. The New York facility currently employees around 1,200 people. It is expected to stay open, but with a reduced workforce.
The initial estimated impact on Alabama’s economy will be roughly $87 million.

So, how is it that Americans have allowed things to degrade to this point? Part of it is fanatics wake up every morning with a plan to advance the cause. Normal people wake up every morning with more pedestrian thoughts in their heads. Another is the natural evolution of a ruling class is to tend to the walls of the castle first. By that I mean they are always looking to secure their position. Over time, they tinker with the rules, change the laws, alter the contract so they face less pressure. Over time, their position becomes unassailable. Brick by brick the walls go up until one day the people can no longer see their rulers. Today Washington looks like medieval Paris with limousines and secret police, rather than carriages and royal guards.
