Obamas Got 99 Problems…
…but the Ukraine ain’t one of ’em. Not that he does not want to fix, it’s the how that has him and his minions stymied.
The other bias is against raw IQ. Mass media is most likely the fault here. Using the Big Five personality types, our politicians will all score high on extroversion and agreeableness. These are not the traits common with deep thinkers or people challenging convention. The vast layer just below the waterline, made up of aides, appointed managers and consultants are primarly spear catchers and bomb throwers. These people got to where they are by displaying fierce loyalty and shrewd timing. They knew when to back the winners and when to avoid the losers. None of them are there to rethink anything.
A stable of yes men may make you feel good about yourself, but does little to solve problems.
I’d add that meddling by careerist barnacles like Victoria Nuland is the real problem. The semi-permanent foreign policy bureaucracy has purged itself of anyone not fully in support of empire. That means anyone bright enough to challenge the prevailing policies is hustled out and replaced with a spear catcher. The result is an army of credentialed nitwits backed by the worlds biggest economy and the world’s baddest military. America in the realm of foreign policy is Justin Bierber with a shotgun. read more

Judge Rules In Favor Of Mexicans
On Thursday, the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a California high school’s decision to outlaw American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo.
Officials at Live Oak High School banned American flags on May 5, 2010 because the year before there had been altercations between white students and Mexican students. There were American flags and chants of “USA.” According to reports, there were also Mexican flags and kids running around saying, “Fuck them white boys. Let’s fuck them up.”
Consequently, the court proclaimed, Live Oak High assistant principal Miguel Rodriguez acted constitutionally when he told students to turn their American flag shirts inside-out or hit the road with an excused absence because he was trying to prevent potential violence.
As UCLA law professor and Washington Post law blogger Eugene Volokh notes, the First Amendment typically does not allow government entities to censor speech this way. However, order and tranquility are paramount in a school setting. The Ninth Circuit’s decision arguably accords with previous case law. At the same time, it amounts to a “heckler’s veto” allowing violent people to co-opt the government into using its own compulsion to enact their desires.
It’s Been Two Years
We need more just like him.
Andrew Breitbart
Born: February 1, 1969 – Died: March 1, 2012
Two years ago today, we lost Andrew Breitbart. He was a father, husband, and a brother — a gregarious and hilarious personality. He was a new media pioneer. But perhaps he is best remembered as a fighter. He fought alongside us. He fought when we couldn’t. Justice. Accountability. Freedom. An even playing field. Those were the fights of his life. “You Might As Well Throw Bones On The Ground” – Greenpeace Co-Founder Destroys Climate Change Science Models
Wow. I watched this last night and was impressed with Patrick Moore and his stance on how Greenpeace had turned into a leftist ideological group versus what he had envisioned it being. Then he proceeds too wipe out the science computer models showing human caused global warming.
