I’m an electronics geek. I was interested in the clock! I wanted to figure out what he had come up with.
I found the highest resolution photograph of the clock I could. Instantly, I was disappointed. Somewhere in all of this – there has indeed been a hoax. Ahmed Mohamed didn’t invent his own alarm clock. He didn’t even build a clock. here…
This is purported to be refugees on the Hungarian border. I can’t verify but if it is, they are the animals we all thought they were. Watch them beat the women on the side of the road.
UPDATE: Apparently this is in Germany and it is a Kurdish rally being attacked by Turks. h/t Irish for finding the article & clips, the link is in the comments.

Seven days before the EPA lost containment of toxic water at the Gold King Mine, retired geologist Dave Taylor wrote a letter to the editor in the local paper warning that a spill was going to happen. He also said, that in his opinion, the EPA may be purposely releasing the toxic sludge so they can justify a water treatment plant.
Today the EPA announced it’s plan to build a treatment plant below the mine.
EPA plans treatment plant for Colorado mine after big spill
By The Associated Press | Posted Sep 16th, 2015 @ 7:46am DENVER (AP) — The Environmental Protection Agency plans to build a wastewater treatment plant for an inactive Colorado gold mine after the agency inadvertently triggered a 3-million-gallon spill of polluted water there last month.
But make no mistake, within seven days, all of the 500gpm flow will return to Cement Creek. Contamination may actually increase… The “grand experiment” in my opinion will fail. And guess what [EPA’s] Mr. Hestmark will say then? Gee, “Plan A” didn’t work so I guess we will have to build a treatment plant at a cost to taxpayers of $100 million to $500 million (who knows). _ Dave Taylor
I caught some of Fox News Bill O’Reilly and Charles Krauthammer discussing why they think Americans are angry. I was amused at the spectacle. (FYI I like Charles, I put up with O’Reilly, the only reason I watch Fox is too keep up on what right leaning power brokers are thinking. Roger Ailes runs in circles that are in the know about what is really gong on in Washington, whether or not he shares that information with the peasants is up for debate, but even accidentally some truth comes out about whats happening in the world of politics), but I digress.
The talking heads have some idea about what these politicians are thinking, and to ponder why Americans are angry speaks to the fact the politicians don’t understand why were pissed or they don’t care that we are. How can they be so clueless? Let me give them a hint, everything that supposed conservatives promised in their campaigns were lies, they were elected/re-elected on promises made, by ignoring those promises and handing Democrats whatever they wanted has infuriated conservatives. If our elected officials won’t do what they were elected to do what voice do we have?
They wanted a majority in congress, we gave it to them, still nothing. They wanted a majority in the senate, we gave it to them, still nothing. They said if they had the super majority they could undo all of the failed policies of Obama…..what did we get for our efforts……more Obama agendas. Krauthammer says he does not see a gnashing of the teeth or a revolutionary movement in the populace at large, but he does not understand the conservative mind.
We don’t do “occupy” whatever, we don’t protest at every injustice done to us, we don’t attack police or take over campaign speeches. We vote. And when our votes are successful yet nothing happens, we will vote again, and this time because we are so fucking pissed off we will vote for anyone other than your establishment candidate. Come on down Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, or Carly. We want people who will do what they say, Cruz does, Carly has, Trump might, but it’s better than the current batch who don’t.
It’s that simple Bill and Charles, we are angry, freakin’ stomping pissed off angry not bewildered like Charles said, but were not gonna to start burning cars. Were gonna hit them where it hurts, and that for now is the most anti-establishment candidate we can come up with. And don’t compare real conservatives with the “occupy” or “Black Lives Matter” crowd, they are NOTHING like us. When you figure that out, maybe you won’t waste so much airtime on a subject you should have figured out by now.
….their ISIS flags fighting with police in Germany.
Refugees my ass! Obama, McCain, Grahamnesty, and the bleeding heart lefties along with the UN wants to get them some of their very own ISIS Terrorists “refugees”.
It’s not bad enough that we are being invaded from the south, now he is going to import terrorists from Syria. Well done Obama, well done.
Washington (AFP) – US President Barack Obama has promised that the United States will admit 10,000 Syrian refugees for resettlement over the next 12 months, after criticism that America is not doing enough.
But this would represent a huge increase in the number of families arriving on US soil. In the more that four years since fighting erupted barely 1,800 Syrians have been welcomed here.
And you can trust that they will be properly vetted right, government never screws up anything….oh wait.
“Refugees are subject to the highest level of security checks of any category of traveler to the United States,” another State Department official told reporters.
Wait what? The State Department assures us? Aren’t these the same folks who can’t figure out an email system, and the same scholars that are in a big ass hurry to give Iran a big bomb? Oh….Ok, I feel safe now.
Rules on immigration and refugees are made by safe people. These are the people who help run countries, who have nice homes in nice neighborhoods and are protected by their status. Those who live with theeffectsof immigration and asylum law are those who are less safe, who see a less beautiful face in it because they are daily confronted with a less beautiful reality—normal human roughness, human tensions. Decision-makers fear things like harsh words from the writers of editorials; normal human beings fear things like street crime. Decision-makers have the luxury of seeing life in the abstract. Normal people feel the implications of their decisions in the particular.
The decision-makers feel disdain for the anxieties of normal people, and ascribe them to small-minded bigotries, often religious and racial, and ignorant antagonisms. But normal people prize order because they can’t buy their way out of disorder. _ Noonan
