…..now they want us to not worry about entitlement programs. Amazingly enough, democrats apparently can’t or won’t except the fact that the nation is in a financial melt down. Unsustainbable entitlements programs are crippling the country and these people are fighting tooth and nail to keep the programs in place. I think these people live in a permanent state of denial. What could go wrong?

Remember Bawney “Butt Buddy” Frank telling everyone that would listen that Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac were in great shape and that any claim to the contrary was a republican ploy. The following is why we can’t trust these bastards. Oh yeah, Barney Franks boyfriend, now hubby, was and still is, an executive for Fannie Mae.

Now the back pedal and blame placed squarely on the Bush Admin. Pathetic.


And now they want us to believe them again that there is no need to worry about entitlement programs. The same programs republicans warn will bring the US economy to its knees. The democrats say they know better.

Full disclosure…I am a smoker.
I know they are bad for me, I know the health risks, I know the money I can save would be significant, and I know that one day I will quit. But I am an Amercian and I used to have some freedoms. The freedom to decide what I digest or inhale.

I have smoked since the early ’80s. I could smoke in bar, in an airplane, in an office, in a resturaunt, in a store, in a mall, even in a hospital. I understood the need to eliminate smoking in most of these areas, (still pissed off about the bars), but I get it. I don’t smoke in my home and I shouldn’t be allowed to smoke in a business. I GET IT!
But enough is enough. The Obama regime is now planning on taxing junk food to force people to eat better. Are you shitting me? Where will it end? Short answer, it won’t. Everytime you get something taxed or something taken from you by the goverment you don’t get it back and the taxes will never be removed. They are addicted to revenue and want more.
I guess if the unions would not have killed the Twinkie the democrats and their taxes would .

Larry Summers, chair of the White House National Economic Council when the 2009 stimulus was developed, suggested that President Obama will eventually tax and regulate junk food to drive people to eat more healthily — although he dinged First Lady Michelle Obama’s healthy foods initiative.

“I think there is no question that the way Americans eat and what Americans weigh is a big contributor to health problems and it’s a big contributor to health costs,” Summers said on Morning Joe today.It’s not the agenda now, but I think at some point you’re going to see tax measures and regulatory measures that are going to be directed at helping people be healthier. That’s just going to happen and I think it’s probably a good thing when it does.”

According to sources in the State Department and the CIA, and intercepted communications from the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama “staged” the attack in Benghazi in order to create a monumental “October Surprise” that would guarantee him re-election.

Yes, you read that right, and no, I’m not making this up. Obama, we now know, is and has been working with the Muslim Brotherhood secretly to engineer the release of the “Blind Sheik,” Omar Abdel Rahman, the mastermind behind the 1993 World Trade Center attack.

In Obama’s October Surprise, he intentionally set up the consulate to have no security so that Chris Stevens could be kidnapped, and held for ransom by Al-Qaeda (and the Muslim Brotherhood). Then, several days before the election, the plan was to trade Chris Stevens for the Blind Sheik, making himself look like a hero, and all but guaranteeing re-election.

This was one of the top reasons why Obama was so insistent on the Muslim Brotherhood getting $1.2 Billion in U.S. Aid. They were to have a primary role in getting Obama re-elected. That is why, even though they knew days before the attack that it was going to occur, no effort was made to bolster security. It was intended to be non-existent. The Libyan security forces were intended to quietly slip into the night when the attack began. And they did, just as planned. That is why, even though 2 C-130U gunships, which were built SPECIFICALLY for this kind of attack, and which could have saved the lives of our people there and were a mere 45 minutes away, were never scrambled at any time during the attack.

There was to be no resistance whatsoever. That is why there were not one, but TWO armed drones flying over the consulate during the conflagration… our CIA operatives on the ground were painting targets because they knew air cover was available. That is why, even though requesting support and backup three times, their requests were NOT ignored, but were intentionally, specifically DENIED three times, and they were told to “stand down,” which basically means to “surrender.” That was part of Obama’s plan.

They were not to fight back. That would potentially undermine the kidnapping effort and cause unnecessary “complications.” That is why, even though the CIA operatives and ex-Navy Seals were on the ground, providing real-time reports, and even though they were “lighting up” the source of the mortars attacking the compound with lasers, no gunships or support ever came. They weren’t supposed to resist.

That wasn’t “part of the plan.” It also wasn’t part of the plan for one of the CIA operatives to intentionally defy Obama’s orders, and who rescued the body of Sean Smith and then stood up again orders, and engaged the enemy who was attacking American soil. It was supposed to be “clean.” Quick. Efficient.

Kidnap the Ambassador and get out. Then Save The Day in the “nick of time.” They didn’t factor in a tiny group of highly trained ex-Navy Seals/CIA operatives… American Patriots and heroes. Even though they eventually lost their lives in the firefight, they managed to employ the full measure of their skills, and took out over 80 attackers in the process… which enraged the attackers, who were led to believe that they would encounter no resistance.

 Christie sucks Obama’s ass to get emergency funding for his state, then goes on MSNBC and rips Romney, next goes on SNL and makes an ass out of himself while people are suffering.
Mr. Christie….just do what you need to do, change parties and be on your way.


Did the Romney camp make mistakes? Probably, but still lost by a small margin and some may argue, (as I do), voter fraud may have decided 2012, but I digress.

All these republican all-stars are folding like a cheap tent. Sleeping with the enemy does not fix the problems, it may make you wealthier, more popular, and a viable candidate for whatever aspirations you have, but you are selling out and weakening the principles that we, (I), beleive in.
The more republicans I see selling out the more I beleive it may be third party time, and a militant third party. No more Mr. Nice Guy.

Time to take the country back.

It’s like everyone jumped ship. Romney loses and they lose their collective minds. How can you hold such convictions during the summer and fall, then change them in a matter of days?

Piyush “Bobby” Jindal can kiss my ass, wouldn’t vote for a rag head no matter how far removed he is from his third world country.

Rubio, he can kiss my as also. How do you back Romney, then shove the knife in his back the minute you think it will be politically advantageous to do so.

And Boehner, what the fuck are you thinking? Making any concessions will only let the democrats know you can be pushed around.

What we have here kids is a serious lack of backbone. These clowns are politicians plain and simple, they have no convictions that they stand on. I respect Ron Paul more than these guys. At least he never swayed from his beliefs. He stayed his course no matter the political fallout. And trust me, I am no Ron Paul fan, but I do respect him.

A third party would definitely seal the fate of any GOP candidate, there are just not enough votes to go around. In a perfect world a Tea Party candidate with staunch convictions to conservatism would be great, but the GOP and Tea Party vote would be split which would leave no answer to the democrats 2016 candidate, which is so very depressing.

O’Reilly seems to think that if Obama fails miserably the votes for the GOP would fall into place, just as it did in 2010. I don’t think so, this is not a political issue, this is cultural, and as long as a certain percentage of the population continues to be handed gifts, free stuff, whatever you want to call it, the populace receiving the benefits will continue to vote to keep them in place. No matter how cute, rugged, patriotic, smart, brown, black, white, yellow, experienced or whatever, conservatives can’t win this fight. Unless they too offer free stuff, which brings us back to the first few paragraphs, Jindal and Rubio fired the first spit balls across the democrats bow for 2016. Think it scared the liberals? I don’t think so.

Oh, and by the way, Chris Christie shame on you. I know why you did it, I just don’t how you could do it…… Traitor.

So they vote 92% to strike, after months of negotiations, and Hostess told them if they strike the plants will close. They struck, they closed the plants…..forever.

Employee or former employee.    Seems like a no brainer for me, considering the job outlook for the next four years. Good luck Hostess workers, I am sure the company can find a right to work state to start a new plant. Enjoy your unemployment.
UPDATE: 18,500 Workers lose their jobs due to 5000 union bakers. What a sad, sad story. Don’t blame Hostess one little bit.
The closing will result in Hostess’ nearly 18,500 workers losing their jobs as the company shuts 33 bakeries and 565 distribution centers nationwide. The bakers’ union represents around 5,000.
Hostess will move to sell its assets to the highest bidder. That could mean new life for some of its most popular products, which could be scooped up at auction and attached to products from other companies.
“We deeply regret the necessity of today’s decision, but we do not have the financial resources to weather an extended nationwide strike,” said CEO Gregory Rayburn in a statement.
The company had given a 5 p.m. ET deadline for the bakers to return to work or face a shutdown of the company. The unions at Hostess could not be reached immediately for comment on the decision.

 

If you work for a man, in heaven’s name work for him. If he pays you wages which supply you bread and butter, work for him; speak well of him; stand by him, and stand by the institution he represents. If put to a pinch, an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness. If you must vilify, condemn, and eternally disparage, resign your position, and when you are outside, damn to your heart’s content, but as long as you are part of the institution do not condemn it. So le me get this straight. Romney received zero votes from 9 precincts in Cuyahoga County. And in that same county, Romney won the 2012 primary election in March with 40,881 votes. The election percentages throughout Ohio counties shows a disparity of 1 to 5 % either way for both candidates in every county. So how can you receive ZERO votes in these areas?
To say it is impossible is not true, but to say that it is improbable is about 99.99 % accurate.
Romney lost Ohio by 103,481 votes, he lost Cuyahoga County by a whopping 236,478 votes. What are the chances?


Same thing happening in Pennsylvania.

Somebody cheated the system and I have a pretty good idea who. No wonder Romney was shell shocked. He probably did win.

It’s one thing for a Democratic presidential candidate to dominate a Democratic city like Philadelphia, but check out this head-spinning figure: In 59 voting divisions in the city, Mitt Romney received not one vote. Zero. Zilch.
