I watched Obama lay out his new gun control “actions” today. To any uninformed individual you would think that the directives are a perfectly normal reaction to a horrific tragedy that was Newtown. The ignorant masses will claim “this is our leader at his finest”. A tragedy happens, our dear leader comforts the victims, calmly reflects on a resolution, and then acts on his conclusions. What a great man.

What a bunch of crap. Obama has a blueprint that has placed him in positions of power and he uses it to perfection. That blueprint involves placing his opponents in lose/lose situations. Most rational common sense people understand that any new gun control measure will do little or nothing to stop a madman intent on killing. Yet Obama seizes on the opportunity of tragedy. Same thing he did with Gabby Giffords (remember the pep rally in Tuscon), same thing he did with Hurricane Sandy, and the BP oil spill to name a few “opportunities” for the purpose of pushing his agenda.

This demonizing is very effective and he follows the same routine, hold a press briefing about how terrible the situation is, measure up his opponent’s position, and then go on TV telling the American public his opponent hates old people, dogs, and children. If seniors lose their medicare, it is the republicans fault. If gun control measures are not passed by congress, it is the right-wing extremist who don’t care for the children. If we don’t pass these new environmental regulations, republicans don’t care about the environment, dogs could die. His penchant for blaming Republicans for whatever ills are currently facing the nation is very effective, no matter how transparent.

And when he is saddled with the blame, all we get is crickets. Benghazi? Fast & Furious? Solyndra?  No press briefings now because his finger-pointing is in the mirror. Now you get late friday document dumps, a sick or injured Secretary of State, executive orders shielding an Attorney General. You don’t see him out in front with his fist in the air demanding answers with the urgency he showed on gun control. He cowers in the White House surrounded by attorneys directing him on how best to cover his ass. What a sad man. And what a sad excuse for a President.

So let me get this straight. Obama and his minions are relentlessly pursuing some form of gun control for America. The same administration who has supplied weapons to the Arab Spring for whatever rebellion they decide will be a good idea this week. It won’t be long before a majority of terrorists factions will be better armed than most small countries.
Then you give Egypt F-16’s and Abram A1 Tanks to the Muslim Brotherhood? And you want to arm Syrian rebels?
What could possibly go wrong? I am sure Israel isn’t to thrilled.

…for the reason government at all levels need to be separated from unions. If these people in New York can’t see the fleecing of the taxpayer in this one instance, then surely we have passed the tipping point.

How in the world can you justify $6,900.00 per student for bus transportation? Administrators, buses, fuel, and the drivers themselves most assuredly have a cost associated with them, but 1.1 billion per year? This is bus transportation for school kids! And this kind of thing happens at all levels of government when dealing with the unions.
I read somewhere last year that union custodians in New York make more than the teachers. I think the politicians need to be riding the short bus to economics 101.

Government schools are an expensive endeavor, especially when union labor and no-bid contracts are involved.

The New York City Department of Education has been catching heat from transportation unions lately over a decision to solicit bids for private transportation services in an effort to curtail runaway costs.

The district has not sought “significant” bids for student transportation services in 33 years. That means it’s probably been using the same companies for years, without competitive bids to naturally control rising costs.

And those costs are increased every year because the companies use high-paid union drivers.

In response to the union criticism, the DOE recently issued a “School Bus Bids FAQ” which makes a staggering admission: the city spends $6,900 per student (for a total of $1.1 billion) per year for bus transportation.

In a 180 day school year, that’s $38.33 per student a day. At that rate it might be more cost-effective for the school system to distribute vouchers for kids to take taxis.

Bob Owens poses an interesting question. Why are we fighting to keep the weapons the government has allowed us to have? Why not fight to get back the weapons that they unconstitutionally banned? Why put up with ANY registration at all? He makes a very valid point. Worth the read.
Simply said, fight fire with fire, start demanding more instead of begging for the right to keep what we already own or would like to own.

If they come to take them by force, they have declared war on the Constitution, and on you. At that point, war is joined, just as it was on another big gun confiscation raid on April 19, 1775. If it was legal in 2012, it’s legal in 2013 and it will be forever. If they say otherwise, they are liars and traitors and oath breakers and domestic enemies.

If you are disarmed and led away in cuffs, are you so sure you’ll be bailed out? And not taken to a “new place” with “new rules”?

Every survivor of every genocide says the same: when they come to take your guns, shoot them. Make them work for it, and THEIR system is overwhelmed, because they don’t have 20 million FLEAs to do armed battles all over the country, instead of nice polite arrest raids like those that Glen “Ghandi” Beck envisions, with the NRA lawyers throwing your bail and suing the pants off the .gov.

It’s like the Solzhenitsyn paragraph “how we burned later in the camps” because they didn’t resist the GRU/KGB in the lobbies and stairwells with axes and knives.

Entire divisions of Russian troops hiked home from WWI in 1917/18, carrying their rifles and swords and other sidearms. Very early on, Lenin decreed that public safety demanded they all be turned in, under penalty of death. And so they were disarmed, but not the Party members! Then came the purges, the Great Terror, the gulags, and tens of millions of dead. So well-preserved was the fiction, that most Russians, when arrested, thought, “Gee, there must be some mistake. I haven’t done anything wrong. They’ll let me go in a few hours.” (Wrong answer.)

If you give up your arms, you are placing your entire trust in the permanent future benevolence of the U.S. govt. This trust is invariably fatal. The German gun registration laws and limits on “military” weapons (then, Mausers etc) were put in the 1920s Weimar Republic,years before Hitler.

They were all common sense and reasonable gun control laws, I’m sure today’s liberals would agree 100%. Then Hitler comes along, and uses the list to first disarm, and then ghetto-ize or “deport” and finally gas the Jews and others, killing millions.

Genocide, using the “common sense” gun registration lists to locate their most dangerous enemies. But first, they just come to pick up the weapons. “No trouble, folks!” They come for the mass arrests later, when the people are disarmed.

Millions of Polish Jews were rounded up this way, when the German police only needed a 1-10 ratio to their victims. 100 German military police, 4-fs in their forties, bottom of the barrel conscripts, would round-up and murder a town of a thousand. Force them to gather, then march groups at gunpoint into the woods for execution. A 1-10 ratio means the killer police are not worried at all. The victims were all disarmed. If they were armed, every village would require a major military effort.

I’m sorry, I do NOT trust that our .gov won’t turn as mean as the old USSR to its “class enemies,” the MSM’s duly appointed scapegoats, us white racist tea-party terrorists, the bitter clingers.

Folks, they perceive that we are reactionary forces not only standing in the way of social progress and liberal utopia, we are actively blocking it. That makes us pure Evil, since their plan for utopia is pure Good. That means they will come to feel totally justified in seeking a “final solution to the bitter clinger question.”

And once their mortal enemies (that’s us) are disarmed and helpless…the temptation grows to simply do away with them. Bill Ayers thought they would need to murder 10% of the population to achieve their utopia.

As it was with the Turkish Armenians, German Jews, Russian Kulaks, Chinese, Ugandans, Guatemalans, Cambodians, Cubans, Rwandans, and on and on, history’s lesson is clear:

Not surprising really.

1) Only in America could the rich people – who pay 86% of all income taxes – be accused of not paying their “fair share” by people who don’t pay any income taxes at all.

2) Only in America could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a black Attorney General, and roughly 18% of the federal workforce is black while only 12% of the population is black

3) Only in America could they have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner, the head of the Treasury Department and Charles Rangel who once ran the Ways and Means Committee, BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

4) Only in America can they have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.

5) Only in America would they make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege while we discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just ‘magically’ become American citizens.

6) Only in America could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country’s Constitution be thought of as “extremists.”

7) Only in America could you need to present a driver’s license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

8) Only in America could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

9) Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillion dollars more than it has per year – for total spending of $7-Million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.

10) Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 a plate campaign fund-raising event.

11) Only in America can a man with no background, no qualifications and no experience … and a complete failure at his job … be reelected.

UPDATE: I am going to let this post ride for a while because I think it is important for everyone to have an opportunity to watch this video. 60 of the most important minutes I have seen in quite some time.

The major reason I started this blog was to vent frustration over what I thought to be a government out of control due to greed and selfish special interest of ALL of the them, Dems and Republicans alike. I assumed that big government was sponsored by K Street and Wall Street and that Obama’s Chicago politics fit right into the corrupt atmosphere in DC.
I would refer to “they” or “them” without knowing who or what these shadowy characters could be, I just had a suspicion of big government but I could not put my finger on it, until now.

Watching a little football and rolling through my daily reads I found a link to a video that blew me away. I had heard of the individuals and the agenda that they may have, but I always assumed they were to small and their ideas were a pipe dream. Boy was I wrong.

Some of you may be well aware of all of this but I have not seen anything put together this organized and well researched. I have been preparing for an end game without knowing where the collapse or the trigger may come from. Now I have a good idea of what to look for. That is all.

Assuming the country has a population of 311 million people. Of that populous about 62% are of working age, (Under 65 over 18), that leaves an available workforce of 192 million people.
The federal government employs approximately 10 million not including the CIA, (which does not disclose employee numbers), or FTE’s. This 10 million number is hard to confirm because of all the differing agencies offering civilian contracts still provided by taxpayer funds. It could very well be double that number but for this effort we will assume the 10 mil.
State governments for the sake of argument we will put at 1 million state employees per state. Now, Wyoming has a population of 568 thousand so there is no way that it could have that many state employees, but California has 37 million people and state employees run about 10% of the population on average so once again, we will assume 1 million state employees per each state.

Remember this douchebag??

Available Workforce – 192 Million
State Employees – 52 Million
Federal Employees – 10 Million
Total of private sector employees paying for some form of government – 130 Million

Now we subtract for 22 million currently unemployed which would leave 108 Million private sector taxpayers. Now subtract 10 million illegal immigrants that do not pay taxes we are now at 98 million available people paying taxes for a population of 311 million. And I know that I have underestimated the amount of government employees in some form or another. Oh, subtract 1.5 million currently in prison and you have 28% of the working populace paying for 72% of the remaining workforce. How do you sustain that????

You do have the argument that government employees pay taxes also, but they have been paid by taxes we paid, kinda redundant to count their portion don’t you think? Now add Obamacare and the additional burden of more government paying for more free stuff and….you get the idea.

We are boned and we don’t even know it yet.
