The Waiting Game
The select committee has voted to release the FISA memo, The White House has it and can release it, but only after five days. What the hell is that? Trump should be able to release anything at anytime, it’s a summary memo, not classified information.
He knows what’s in it and if it were me, I would have released it after having a team of lawyers glance at it. It’s four pages long…..how much scrutiny can you give a lunch menu?
Yet here we are, being asked to wait five days and listen to all the hyperbole from both sides. Trump would have been wise to release it before tonight’s SOTU address, if it’s as scathing an indictment of Trumps enemies as they are saying, Trump would be looking out over an audience of neutralized liberals during his State of the Union address knowing he just moved his king for checkmate.
Instead the democrats can continue on with denial and tear apart his SOTU address with their palaver after the speech. If he released the memo before his speech the dems would be in major damage control trying to defend the partisan puppets in the justice department. Their heads would be spinning so fast that any rebuttal at Trump would just sound like petulant children who just had their binky taken away.
Oh well, I guess all we can do is wait and deal with the smug conceit that the liberals will be spewing after his speech knowing that Karma will indeed be a bitch.

1.8 Million?
Not sure what the hell is going on here.
There are 11 to 22 million illegal immigrants in country right now, with all of this amnesty talk, thousands more are on their way. If we’re going to “help” 1.8 million Dreamers, does that mean the other 20.2 million left will be deported? Of course not.
Once you set the precedent that one segment of illegals have a privileged status, the democrats will go back to the drawing board to claim another group of illegals must have the same rights as the Dreamers. It’s a vicious circle that won’t stop with granting Dreamers citizenship.
Two years from now Democrats will be threatening to shut down the government over Dreamers parents who are being torn away from their only children, the liberal media will show clips of families being split up playing on the emotions of the bleeding hearts and democrats will demand the parents get the same deal as their kids.
If the wall isn’t built and the border not secure then the process goes on indefinitely.
Build the damn wall, stem the flood of illegals to a trickle, stop chain migration and the visa lottery system then you can make deals. Until all of this happens, and the wall is built, no deal.

Back From The Brink
Made it back from the land of liberals. Pretty chilly for SoCal but I’m sure global warming will cure the chill.
A few thoughts on what I missed;
I golfed Saturday and Sunday, didn’t watch any playoff football, didn’t miss it. I Have zero interest in the Superbowl which is a change for me, I used to be an NFL nut.
I guess the government shutdown, I blinked and missed it.
Business’s are handing out bonuses like candy after tax bill, Pelosi say’s they’re crumbs. Apparently a thousand bucks is a crumb for Nancy….now you know why Trump won.

More Asians than Mexicans in the nicer area we were in.
Traffic blows goats.
There are no solar panels on any of the homes or businesses I saw. I guess maintaining the architectural look of homes is more important than global warming to the million dollar home owners. Hypocrite much?
