It’s a bummer for their employees who are getting the axe, but the people in charge should have worried more about their employees than their political ideology. It my be sheik and hip to come out against Trump and conservatives but it also has consequences.
Liberals are ecstatic that Nordstoms has dropped the daughter of the Presidents wares, but with every action there is a reaction. The Under Armour CEO has come out backing Trump, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors is considering dropping them as sponsors. Well, I used to enjoy watching Curry play basketball, I didn’t care that he was a big fan of Obama, I do care that he is making a political stance. Bye bye watching Golden State games, hello Under Armour, I will be purchasing my sports gear from you now…exclusively.
It’s very simple, you don’t have to riot and break windows, they are replaceable. But when share holders and board members see their profits tank because one of their lefty administrators decides to go all social justice warrior with their brand, they may think long and hard before they mix business with politics.
