Dreamers Are Not Americans……
…..no matter how many times liberals lie to you and tell you they are. It’s not a concept cooked up by conservatives, it’s the law.

Eric Holder lectures us dumb hayseeds on the on what a Dreamer is….and he is wrong.
But Eric Holder nevertheless gets it wrong, as he is wont to do. “I’m calling on all Americans to see and treat dreamers as our own,” he writes, “because they are our own.” These individuals “should not be defined by their immigration status,” he claims. He quotes President Obama, who says that the dreamers are Americans “in their hearts, in their minds, in every single way but one: on paper.”
Well, gee, thanks for pointing out the obvious, professor.
Indeed, Obama gets it right: the dreamers are not Americans “on paper,” and so in that one profoundly critical way they are not Americans at all. That was the point of DACA in the first place: to offer deferred deportation to non-Americans. Natural-born and naturalized citizens of the United States were not the ones who took advantage of Obama’s executive order: it was illegal immigrants, non-citizens, that did so. It is not Trump who “defined them by their immigration status.” It was Obama.
Citizenship Matters, Whether We Like It Or Not
It is grating to have to point this out, though the deficiencies of our immigration debate tend to make it necessary to do so. We are, after all, a nation; as a nation we are composed primarily of a body politic made up of citizens. There are a great many among us who desire, in various incoherent ways, to do away with such distinctions—people who believe that simply arriving here, through whatever means, should qualify one for citizenship. Such a policy would essentially do away with the idea of citizenship altogether, rendering our country’s immigration policy to be the legislative equivalent of John Lennon’s turgid “Imagine.” Keep reading….

“USA Today” Pokes Billionaires/Millionaires At Their Own Peril
It appears that USA Today believes, merely belonging to a golf club owned by President Donald Trump’s corporation means that you deserve having your name and personal information made public.
In its investigation, USA Today looked into the backgrounds of people who belong to the Trump golf clubs in states such as Florida, New Jersey and Virginia, and found that a list of lobbyists, CEO’s, government contractors, and others who make money from connections with the government, are members.
“USA Today” prepare to get some damn good lawyers, your’e gonna need ’em. The collective wealth of these members dwarfs whatever your paper and website are worth.
Oldy But Still Relevant
It’s All Been A Lie
Gosh, this DACA two-step kind of reminds me of Obamacare and how gung-ho the True Conservatives were to repeal it when they couldn’t repeal it and how suddenly they turned ungung-ho when they actually could. Weird. If I was cynical, I’d say that it seems like the establishment GOP has been lying to our faces for years and years, but that couldn’t be true because our establishment betters have principles and stuff.
But the establishment ignored the normals out in America as it gorged on the fruits of the normals’ labor, and that’s why a second axis arose and intersected with the American politician spectrum. This new axis measures pro- or con- regarding the status quo and the ruling class. So now there are really four political parties stuffed into two political party infrastructures:
- Right, pro-establishment (The RINOs)
- Right, anti-establishment (The Trump voters)
- Left, pro-establishment (Hillary’s snobby urban corporatist jerk corps)
- Left, anti-establishment (The Bernie/Warren/Stalin Axis of Venezuela)
This explains why we see the DC establishment unifying to protect its power and privilege – and holding us normals in utter contempt. Most Democrat senators and Republican senators have much more in common with each other than with us – to the GOP establishment, Trump’s clearly the bigger threat than a counterpart across the aisle.
