Al Sharpton….How Does He Keep His MSNBC Gig?

It seems like the shooting of Trayvon Martin was an act of violence against a young black man, I get it. We still don’t know the circumstances but it does seem as though he was unarmed. So now we have all of these people upset, and rightfully so, and are ready to storm where ever to get the word out about the race based murder of young Trayvon.

People get murdered everyday, white, black, yellow, blue, pink, you name it, it happens. But how come when it is a minority they end up pulling the Platinum Race Card? I assume because it is news and the news whores want their face out in front leading the fight, fist in the air head in the sand.

So Al Sharpton is calling for “his people” to try and stay level headed in all of this, which I applaud. But the thing that still irk’s me to this day, is he has “his people”, I mean if a white kid was killed and I was in Sharptons shoes, I certainly wouldn’t want to state “my people”, that would be considered racist on face value. A kinda white superiority slap in the face of the down trodden.

C’mon people, this looks like a tradegy and hopefully the man accused of the shooting is tried and brought to justice, innocent or guilty. But Sharpton, Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson and their ilk need to let the powers that be deal with this, not take the opportubunity to rile up the natives.

SANFORD, Fla. — The Rev. Al Sharpton, an MSNBC host and liberal political figure, riled up a mostly-black Sanford, Fla., crowd on Thursday night in the wake of the killing of 17-year-old student Trayvon Martin.

“Some people said to me in the media — ‘Let me get this straight,’ they said. ‘Reverend, it seems like there’s a lot of people who are angry — are you afraid of violence?’” Sharpton preached to the central Floridian crowd. “I said, ‘No. I’m afraid of the violence you already had.’”

“Violence is killing Tray Martin,” Sharpton continued. “Don’t act like we are the ones [who are] violent. We didn’t shoot nobody.”

“I want our people to understand that how you behave is going to be a reflection on this case,” Sharpton instructed the crowd. Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2012/03/22/sharpton-emcees-racially-focused-sanford-rally-warns-against-use-of-violence/#ixzz1px2C6lYU

“Where there is no justice, there will be no peace. Soon the law of retaliation may very well be applied,” Farrakhan wrote, including the hashtag #Trayvon to clarify the subject of his angst. “Let us see what kind of justice will come for his bereaved family and our bereaved community,” he said in the previous social media message:

Here we go! It seems like they want the LA Riots all over again.
