Got an e-mail about Rep. Mike Kelly from Pa. showing him blasting away at congress last summer, I have never seen this clip but it seems to me that all of his words fell on deaf ears, and that my friends is when they all need to go. He does make a great point stating what if none of them were running for re-election, if they could get anything done.
Not a bad rant, just does not seem effective, notice the congressman behind him tapping his finger impatiently.
Surprised that I have not read this on a few other sites. Soylent Green posted it yesterday, the story linked to a sarcastic article from the Canada Free Press on the issue so I was a bit apprehensive on the actual order. With magic of the internet I was able to see that it was indeed true, but from what I am reading, industry leaders are happy about the order.
Maybe you guys can help me out on this one. More regulation and more federal agencies including the EPA are being tasked to by-pass state authority and regulate on their own. WTF?
If the way I am reading this is accurate, it is more Obama administration having the power to govern private industry. Which would lead me to beleive that the practice of fracking could and will be eliminated.
So what is it? A good or bad thing? Below is a list of agencies tasked with helping states regulate, and under it is a few links to articles praising the order.
From The Hill: Industry groups welcomed President Obama’s executive order to coordinate federal oversight of natural-gas development Friday.
From Politico: The order creates a working group that includes various White House offices such as the Council on Environmental Quality and National Economic Council, as well as relevant cabinet departments and agencies like Interior, EPA and Department of Homeland Security.

Via Big Journalism – In two separate instances, Politifact has contradicted itself with its rating of the accurate claim made by the Romney campaign that women account for 92.3 percent of the jobs lost under President Obama.
“Putting aside the obvious problems with rating an accurate statement mostly false, your analysis in this instance was so inadequate that the piece ended up being little more than Obama for America spin,” Chen wrote.
Chen then noted that Politifact had an “embarrassing bias and lack of journalistic standards” but “far more troubling were the selection of your two experts” and rightfully called Politifact out on its blatant biases.
Chen was referring to Gary Burtlett and Betsey Stevenson, the two experts Politifact cited in its takedown of Romney.
As Chen noted, “Gary Burtless has already donated twice to President Obama’s campaign this cycle” and, “much more inexplicably, Bestey (sic) Stevenson, who you identify simply as ‘a business and public policy professor at Princeton University,‘ was until recently the chief economist for Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis.”

Reading through the Saturday morning daily reads I came across Zip’s article about the American Teachers Federation, or AFT, has hired a Socialist, Shaun Richman, who is also a Truther and Osama bin Laden apologist. Then shot over to the Big’s and another article about a very real concern for parents with children in New York City public schools, where 14 teachers of highly dubious character have been reinstated to the classroom – and two others have been given “desk duty” – thanks to appeals by their powerful teachers union, the United Federation of Teachers.
NYDailyNews.com reports that 16 teachers “kept their jobs after being brought up on egregious charges, some sexual, some involving excessive personal familiarity with students.”
The numerous reports of teachers abusing students and are allowed to continue teaching because of powerful unions that let them keep their jobs, even after they have been proven guilty of said abuse, is staggering. How did we become slaves to these unions? How do we allow them to back perverse teachers? How do we allow them to retire on massive pensions plans that would make Bernie Madoff blush?
Well the answer is easy, At the federal level, government unions came to being as a result of President Kennedy’s 1962 Executive Order 10988. Unions in the federal government were created not by law but by Executive Order.
Throughout American history — and as recently as the 1950s — there were no unions for government workers. Public-sector employees were expected to earn a bit less than their private-sector equivalents. The reasons they did so included an interest in public service, job security and reasonable benefits.
But that changed in the late fifties with New York City Mayor Robert Wagner’s cynical appeal to the votes of city workers. He signed an executive order authorizing them to unionize, and soon other local and state Democrat legislators around the country followed his lead.
These efforts culminated in 1962, when President John F. Kennedy granted federal employees the right to collectively bargain. Since then, public sector union membership has skyrocketed while, in the private sector, unions have fallen out of favor.
In 2009, private sector union members were outnumbered for the first time by their public sector counterparts.
…to transform America as he promised. Obama and his handlers, bundlers, and mentors have a plan that started the day he was inaugurated. From the GM takeover to promising to bankrupt coal fired energy and attacking big oil, this is all a strategy. I bring this up because his re-election is just a smaller example of what he is capable of. It seems to give him a lot of credit for being rather smart, but that is not the point. Obama is a puppet, groomed for this day because of his skin color and his smooth talking that would ensure a win in 2008 and a great chance to be re-elected. Obama is not smart, but his money men are.
It reminds me of the Donald Sutherland clip in JFK when he is telling Costner about all of the unusual things that happened when Kennedy was killed. He was explaining to Costner how to connect the dots.
I suggest that we all look back over the last three years and see what Obama and his administration have done and connect the dots. High gas prices are part of the plan, he just has not shown his hand yet.
Watch this clip and don’t think about the 60’s or the Oliver Stone spin, think about 2008 thru 2012 and see if you tell what George Soros, Bill Ayers, and Salinsky (I know he is dead) may be able to do with their favorite puppet, Barack Hussein Obama.

All of this is very well orchestrated by the Obama machine. Don’t think so?
1. Remember the question from George Stephanopoulos at the debate back in November, “can states ban contraceptives”, all he was doing was following orders for the Obamacare mandate on insurance paying for contraceptives. Weeks later Boom! Major political football.
2. Congress questions an all male panel on the contraceptive issue, feminists go ape shit and all of the sudden this little flower, this wholesome college co-ed, this innocent little Sandra Fluke gets her 15 minutes. Days later Bam! A major political football.
3. Catholic Church and democritters go toe to toe on the legal basis for forcing the church institutions to pay for contraceptives due to the mandate. Rick Santorum takes the bait and is drawn into the swamp. He is perceived as an overboard pious bible thumper and his numbers begin to fall. A few weeks later Wham! Rick is out of the race.
4. Polls show that Romney is slipping in the polls with women voters. A women named Hilary Rosen goes after Anne Romney for being a “stay at home mom”. The same Hilary Rosen who has been to the Whitehouse 35 times since she was hired by Michelle Whatshername Shithead as an image consultant. The next day Kaboom! All hell breaks loose……twitter, blogs, politicians, and the main stream media take sides.
5. Ms. Rosen was tossed under the bus, but remember, Obama is driving the bus. Turns out that Ms. Rosen is a lesbian with kids of her own. They are trying to bait Romney into swimming in the same swamp Santorum fell in. Putting Anne Romney out for the response was genius and shut down the “War on Women” spin that is happening now. Pelosi sends out e-mail requesting help with unprecedented “WAR ON WOMEN”.
6. Hilary Rosens firm represents Sandra Fluke….coincidink, I think not.
