And make no mistake, the left has declared war on conservatives.
With all of the bullshit the left is throwing out there, companies who are liberally biased or scared to offend the moonbats are taking a stand with one side or the other. Nordstroms decision to drop Ivanka’s clothing line is as transparently political as the 9th Circus court ruling against the travel ban. With all of these companies liberally lobotomized by decades of progressive indoctrination there is only one way to deal with the shenanigans. Don’t do business with them.
Kelloggs, who came out against conservatives and their values, is shuttering 39 distribution centers and laying off 1,100 people. It’s a bummer for their employees who are getting the axe, but the people in charge should have worried more about their employees than their political ideology. It my be sheik and hip to come out against Trump and conservatives but it also has consequences.
Liberals are ecstatic that Nordstoms has dropped the daughter of the Presidents wares, but with every action there is a reaction. The Under Armour CEO has come out backing Trump, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors is considering dropping them as sponsors. Well, I used to enjoy watching Curry play basketball, I didn’t care that he was a big fan of Obama, I do care that he is making a political stance. Bye bye watching Golden State games, hello Under Armour, I will be purchasing my sports gear from you now…exclusively.
It’s very simple, you don’t have to riot and break windows, they are replaceable. But when share holders and board members see their profits tank because one of their lefty administrators decides to go all social justice warrior with their brand, they may think long and hard before they mix business with politics.
….Fuck Off!!
All of you listed below used your acceptance speech to rant about federal immigration policy, please keep your opinions to yourselves you’re in over your skis.
Ashton Kutcher, Taraji P. Henson — Best movie (Hidden Figures), David Harbour — Best drama series (Stranger Things), Taylor Schilling — Best comedy series (Orange is the New Black), Emma Stone — Best actress (La La Land), Sarah Paulson — Best actress in a television movie or miniseries (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story), Julia Louis-Dreyfus — Best actress in a comedy series (Veep), William H. Macy — Best actor in a comedy series (Shameless), Mahershala Ali — Best supporting film actor (Moonlight), Bryan Cranston — Best actor in a television movie (All the Way), Lilly Tomlin — Lifetime achievement award
I don’t know who half of you are and I didn’t watch your award ceremony because I don’t watch award shows, but ya managed to piss me off anyway.
I have no time for self absorbed celebrities aggrandizing themselves and their fellow “actors/actresses”. You make a butt load of money acting and I applaud you for your craft, getting paid for memorizing lines, and acting like somebody you’re not. I do not applaud you for politics, keep it to yourselves, nobody cares. The people who do watch you are digitally lobotomized zombies who have nothing better to do than watch you be fake Bob or Karen. Embrace your constituents, leave the rest of us alone, were tired of your shit.
Most people can see through the veiled outrage but you’re actors, you know how to fake outrage. Put your money where your mouth is, take a few of your millions and build a shelter, invite a family of Syrians into your home, a few thousand into your neighborhood, I’m sure your community in all it’s high and mightiness would be thrilled with a refugee camp in your favorite park or golf course. This will give you a wonderful opportunity to find out what your wealthy neighbors, family, and local city of commerce think about your new found humanitarian efforts.
What’s that? You and your ilk don’t want refugees in your communities? Well neither do we you pompous ass hats, so shove your feigned outrage up your collective asses and let the adults do what they have to do, they have a country to secure while you get to go do playtime with your fellow actors and have the luxury of getting paid for it.
Until you have a few teenage male Somalians sleeping in the room down the hall, or a few thousand down the road, shut your fucking mouths on national TV preening about whatever perceived injustices have accosted your high minded morality, ’cause it’s all just an act and apparently somebody thought you deserved a shiny award for it. Assholes.

The people who resigned from State were actually fired….FIRED! That is how it’s done! I’ll link source when confirmed.
The earlier statement showing that these people quit under protest of Trump was….wait for it….fake news.

The media is acting like this will cripple the State Department, not so fast asshats, this is a wonderful thing. A new broom sweeps clean.
Demonstrating just how ideologically alligned with the Obama administration was the entire US State Department, moments ago the WaPo reported that “the entire senior level of management officials resigned Wednesday, part of an ongoing mass exodus of senior foreign service officers who don’t want to stick around for the Trump era.”
The mass resignation took place as Rex Tillerson was inside the State Department’s headquarters in Foggy Bottom on Wednesday, taking meetings and getting the lay of the land.
According to WaPo’s Josh Rogin who suddenly has no more senior level sources left at State:
“I reported Wednesday morning that the Trump team was narrowing its search for his No. 2, and that it was looking to replace the State Department’s long-serving undersecretary for management, Patrick Kennedy. Kennedy, who has been in that job for nine years, was actively involved in the transition and was angling to keep that job under Tillerson, three State Department officials told me.”
Then suddenly on Wednesday afternoon, Kennedy and three of his top officials resigned unexpectedly, four State Department officials confirmed. Assistant Secretary of State for Administration Joyce Anne Barr, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Michele Bond and Ambassador Gentry O. Smith, director of the Office of Foreign Missions, followed him out the door. All are career foreign service officers who have served under both Republican and Democratic administrations.
Additionally, “Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security Gregory Starr retired Jan. 20, and the director of the Bureau of Overseas Building Operations, Lydia Muniz, departed the same day. That amounts to a near-complete housecleaning of all the senior officials that deal with managing the State Department, its overseas posts and its people.”
Lindsey Graham went on Face the Nation and blathered on about his intellectual superiority to anything Trump. He was condescending and dismissive of Trumps plans and inauguration speech.
He continues to be clueless about why Trump won and thinks that he and his RINO buddies can just gain the trust of the American people and all will be well. Sorry to break it to you squeaky but you have had since 2010 to gain our trust and all you did was give Obama whatever he wanted.
You and your feckless partners had your chance and you failed miserably. It’s Trumps turn, try and act like a supporter or switch parties, we are having a hard time figuring out whose side you are on.
Graham urged Mr. Trump not to summarily cut foreign aid, saying it’s more effective in combating terrorism than using weapons and warfare.
“You want to destroy radical Islam, Mr. President, you will never do it by taking soft power off the table,” he said. “You cannot kill enough terrorists, you cannot drop enough bombs … building a small schoolhouse for a poor young girl in Afghanistan, Syria or Iraq will do more damage to radical Islam than any bomb you could drop.” here….
Once again, Bush, Obama, and Hillary tried that, with Graham and McCains blessing;
Looking at the botched projects collectively — rather than as one-off headlines — reveals a grim picture of the overall reconstruction effort and a repeated cycle of mistakes.
Yep, that “soft power” worked well didn’t it.
Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way Lindsey, Americans are tired of your shit.
It was Einstein or Ben Franklin who said the definition of insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
This came to mind as the Trump cabinet is being put in place. It has nothing to do with the picks but everything to do with the government departments to be led. The latest appointment as Energy Secretary is Rick Perry, the same Rick Perry who sputtered out during a presidential debate that this particular department should be shut down. I whole heartily agree that there are a number of alphabet departments that should be closed but my point is that by appointing a guy to lead a department, that in his estimation should be shuttered, is irony on steroids.
Trumps claim during his campaign was to eliminate waste and drain the swamp that is Washington DC. That’s all well and fine but the proof is in the pudding and right now all I can see is another administration taking it’s turn with the toys. Don’t get me wrong I love the majority of the picks, (jury is still out on Mitch McConnells little dove taking over transportation department), but this all seems like business as usual.
If Trump really wanted to send shock waves through DC he would place these people as clearing house appointments charged with eliminating alphabet agencies and letting states absorb the responsibilities dictating size and scope on their dime. The environmental/energy needs in Florida are different from say North Dakota, thus the states decide on their own issues versus a one size fits all policy, let the states have some skin in the game considering industrial impacts and constituents/business input from the people who actually live there. It’s ridiculous having bureaucrats making crucial decisions from their cubicles in DC on a farmers irrigation pond in west Texas. If you expand that thought, the same thing can be said with the Department of Education, EPA, GSA, Department of Labor, etc…
It’s my hope Trump and his cabinet understand all of this otherwise we are doing the same thing over and over again. Stop the insanity….less is more.
” This rather old saying, ‘chickens have come home to roost’, is normally used to mean that the bad things that someone has done in the past have come back to bite or haunt the individual.”
In one of the most shocking flip-flops in recent political history, German Chancellor Angela Merkel now says she will deport about 10% of recently arrived migrants — 100,000 of them.
Well, well, well, has Merkel seen the light? Doubtful, she’s up for re-election and her party is being creamed in local elections.
Her extraordinary change of heart has been prompted largely by a series of catastrophic local election results for her ruling Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party, which was trounced by the populist Alternative fur Deutschland in both her home state and the capital Berlin.
Politics 101….which way is the wind blowing?
But instead Mrs Merkel last week announced her intention to stand for a fourth term as leader of Germany, and now she is striking an increasingly anti-immigrant tone as she attempts to restore her battered reputation ahead of next autumn’s election.
And in her toughest rhetoric yet the German leader told MPs from her party this week: ”The most important thing in the coming months is repatriation, repatriation and once more, repatriation.” The stance marks an astonishing U-turn from the once pro-refugee Chancellor, who has been widely pilloried by critics at home and abroad for her decision to throw open Germany’s borders to millions of migrants. Keep Reading….
I’m in no position to tell the German people what to do and it may be to late at this point to change direction.
