This is an easy to understand list of why the Gang of Eights plan for amnesty is a bust. It does nothing but empower the DHS and gives 11 million people a free ticket to America, while people who are doing it legally get screwed. And if you think 11 million is the number, wait until it passes, the numbers will explode and no border control will be able to handle the influx of illegals looking for that free ticket. Oh and by the way, Rubio can’t be trusted, just another politician going along to get along. And his new buddies, Shumer, McRhino, and Gramnesty? Not exactly a gang who has the American peoples best interest in mind, only their own agenda.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cMultiple triggers\u201d\/<\/strong>Legalization is\u00a0immediate. DHS just\u00a0 has to write border \u201cplan.\u201d\u00a0 The most\u00a0any \u201ctriggers\u201d can possibly do\u00a0 is delay green cards and citizenship.<\/p>\n

No \u201cpublic charge.\u201d Must earn 125% of poverty line \/ <\/strong>They\u2019re\u00a0 going to deport people who earn only 124% or less? Ha.<\/p>\n

\u201cPay a fine\u201d<\/strong>\/ Can be waived by DHS<\/p>\n

\u201cBack of the line\u201d\/<\/strong> Get to wait out the line while\u00a0 living\u00a0in the U.S (unlike suckers trying to come here\u00a0legally).<\/p>\n

Border fence\/ <\/strong>Leaves it\u00a0up to DHS<\/a>, which decided not to complete fence in first\u00a0 place<\/p>\n

\u201cComprehensive Southern Border Security Strategy\u201d<\/strong>\/ Only has\u00a0 to be \u201csubstantially\u201d operational\u2013whatever that means, as defined by DHS\u2013before\u00a0 green cards are issued. (Legalization has already happened, remember!)<\/p>\n

\u201cE-verify\u201d employment checks<\/strong>\/ Replaces E-Verify with new system\"\"<\/a>. Requires\u00a0 only that this system be \u201cimplemented\u201d ( 30%? 70%? Who knows?).\u00a0 Subject to\u00a0 lawsuit. If still in court after 10 years, never mind<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Entry-exit system for visas<\/strong>\/Has been required since 1996.\u00a0 DHS\u00a0must only be \u201cusing\u201d a system before green cards can be\u00a0issued.\u00a0 (Using in 10% of airports? 50%? Again, who knows?)<\/p>\n
