Why So Angry?

Why So Angry?

Texas Democrats use hangers as props at the Texas Legislature.
Why do they all look so pissed off? A women has 5 months to decide whether or not to abort her child under this bill. Any rational person would think that after five months the “Mother” of the unborn child could or should have made a choice one way or the other. Yet Texas Democrats show up with hangers as props.

Our society has broken down to a point where common sense is tossed out the window in favor of liberal agendas.

And good lord the hateful scowl on all of the ladies pictured. How would you like to be married to one of them……a chilling prospect to be sure.

Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-District of Columbia) Says GOP Dead When Texas Goes “Full Blown Hispanic”

(CNSNews.com) – Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-District of Columbia) said when Texas goes “full blown” with Hispanics it’s going to mean an end to the GOP, or “this southern section white party of old men.” […]

Norton replied, “Oh, yeah and you got to watch out because Texas — when Texas goes full blown — the Republicans better have it good now because they are not long for this world.”

“Meaning what?” Erbé interjected.

“Meaning that the growth of the Hispanic population is going to mean the end of this section of this – this southern section white party of old men and they know it,” Norton said.
A Nod to Weasel Zippers for the heads up.

Any questions on the real reason behind the Gang of Eight amnesty bill? She just came out and told you what the plan is. I am sure she knows what is best for Texas?

Smoke & Mirrors & Monkeys

Smoke & Mirrors & Monkeys

With all of the Obama scandals, how are we to decide what is a smoke screen? There are so many salacious stories coming out, how can you know what is a distraction and what should be criminally investigated?  This administration rolls from one scandal to the next with the ease of a group of spider monkeys swinging through the tress. The MSM watches with amazement at how graceful the group is, never noticing that they just defecated on their heads. Republicans in Congress do the same thing.  Yes, they posture and and get all uppity when Obama and his cohorts pull another stunt, but in the end they all end up looking up into the trees as another executive order is signed or another backroom deal is brokered.

So how to prioritize the investigations? The deaths of four Americans in Benghazi? The IRS being used as Obamas personal pit bull? An Attorney General who lies to Congress like he’s ordering lunch? How about Solyndra and the other green energy debacles that had so much cronyism, if it were a dot to dot puzzle, a 1st grader could connect them. The list goes on and there are so many of them, Congress is left going from one hearing to the next chasing their tails and never getting any answers.

Below is a list of controversies that have been investigated or a hearing held. Can you find one of these that has been investigated, prosecuted, and the people who were in charge were punished? I can’t.
Hell, I wish Congress would just pick one, come to a conclusion, fire somebody or send someone to jail, then move on to the next. At least people would understand there are consequences for their actions. But right now, Congress is nothing but a paper tiger, looking up with amazement, at the monkeys in the trees.

1. IRS targets Obama’s enemies: The IRS targeted conservative and pro-Israel groups prior to the 2012 election. Questions are being raised about why this occurred, who ordered it, whether there was any White House involvement and whether there was an initial effort to hide who knew about the targeting and when.

2. Benghazi: This is actually three scandals in one: The failure of administration to protect the Benghazi mission; the changes made to the talking points in order to suggest the attack was motivated by an anti-Muslim video; and the refusal of the White House to say what President Obama did the night of the attack.

3. Keeping an eye on The Associated Press: The Justice Department performed a massive cull of Associated Press reporters’ phone records as part of a leak investigation.

4. Rosengate: The Justice Department suggested that Fox News reporter James Rosen is a criminal for reporting about classified information and subsequently monitored his phones and emails.

5. Potential Holder perjury I: Attorney General Eric Holder told Congress he had never been associated with “potential prosecution” of a journalist for perjury when in fact he signed the affidavit that termed Rosen a potential criminal.

6. The ATF “Fast and Furious” scheme: Federal agencies allowed weapons from U.S. gun dealers to “walk” across the border into the hands of Mexican drug dealers. The ATF summarily lost track of scores of those weapons, many of which were used in crimes, including the December 2010 killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

7. Potential Holder perjury II: Holder told Congress in May 2011 that he had just recently heard about the Fast and Furious gun walking scheme when there is evidence he may have known much earlier.

8. Sebelius demands payment: HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius solicited donations from companies HHS might regulate. The money would be used to help her sign up uninsured Americans for Obamacare.

9. The Pigford scandal: An Agriculture Department effort that started as an attempt to compensate black farmers who had been discriminated against by the agency but evolved into a gravy train delivering several billion dollars in cash to thousands of additional minority and female farmers who probably didn’t face discrimination.

10. GSA gone wild: The General Services Administration in 2010 held an $823,000 training conference in Las Vegas, featuring a clown and a mind readers. Resulted in the resignation of the GSA administrator.

11. Veterans Affairs in Disney World: The agency wasted more than $6 million on two conferences in Orlando. An assistant secretary was fired.

12. Sebelius violates the Hatch Act: A U.S. special counsel determined that Sebelius violated the Hatch Act when she made “extemporaneous partisan remarks” during a speech in her official capacity last year. During the remarks, Sebelius called for the election of the Democratic candidate for governor of North Carolina.

13. Solyndra: Republicans charged the Obama Administration funded and promoted its poster boy for green energy despite warning signs the company was headed for bankruptcy. The administration also allegedly pressed Solyndra to delay layoff announcements until after the 2010 midterm elections.

14. AKA Lisa Jackson: Former EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson used the name “Richard Windsor” when corresponding by email with other government officials, drawing charges she was trying to evade scrutiny.

15. The New Black Panthers: The Justice Department was accused of using a racial double standard in failing to pursue a voter intimidation case against Black Panthers who appeared to be menacing voters at a polling place in 2008 in Philadelphia.

16. Waging war all by myself: Obama may have violated the Constitution and both the letter and the spirit of the War Powers Resolution by attacking Libya without Congressional approval.

17. Biden bullies the press: Vice President Biden’s office has repeatedly interfered with coverage, including forcing a reporter to wait in a closet, making a reporter delete photos, and editing pool reports.

18. AKPD not A-OK: The administration paid millions to the former firm of then-White House adviser David Axelrod, AKPD Message and Media, to promote passage of Obamacare. Some questioned whether the firm was hired to help pay Axelrod $2 million AKPD owed him.

19. Sestak, we’ll take care of you: Former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel used Bill Clinton as an intermediary to probe whether former Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) would accept a prominent, unpaid White House advisory position in exchange for dropping out of the 2010 primary against former Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.).

20. I’ll pass my own laws: Obama has repeatedly been accused of making end runs around Congress by deciding which laws to enforce, including the decision not to deport illegal immigrants who may have been allowed to stay in the United States had Congress passed the “Dream Act.”

Why Current Illegal Immigrants Are Different From Past Immigrants

Why Current Illegal Immigrants Are Different From Past Immigrants

I saw this a few years ago but thought it is worth seeing again. When Mexicans feel like they can pull a stunt like this, what makes you think 20 million more would not be emboldened for more acts like this, especially since the amnesty bill bast by the gang of eight was done in consultation with La Raza.

Kudos to the Vet who refuses to let a flag he fought for be disrespected like that.

What is LaRaza? Here ya go.

Show Me The Money II

Show Me The Money II

Looks like Morsi is out as TMMFIC of Egypt, or at least under house arrest, and the military is taking over. As has been well documented, the Unite States has dished over 1.3 billion in aid so far in 2013. That does not include tanks and planes. I was reading over on Ace’s blog and noted this:

I read a piece a few weeks ago — before this revolution actually became a full revolution — that stated that no one in Egypt’s government had any experience governing or had any idea what the hell they were doing.  Basically the government consisted of people who had done nothing but read the Koran all day long all their lives.

I wonder if the military’s statement that a “technocrat, capable” government is a code for “We’re not allowing firebrand clerics to hold positions of responsibility over finance and trade, for God’s sake.” – Ace at Ace of Spades HQ

Ok, so if they have no idea how to govern or deal with finances, who decided how to divvy up 1.3 billion? And who in their right minds thought it was a grand idea to give $1.3 BILLION to a bunch of newbie inexperienced terrorist loving  jihadist? Good job Obama, bet we could have used some of those fun tokens here in the good ole US of A.

What Happened To Fox News?

What Happened To Fox News?

I watch Fox News for updated happenings and political view points you won’t get elsewhere. O’Reilly pisses me off at times but I still find him entertaining. I look forward to nightly news that you won’t get from NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, or CNN.

The “real” news I get from the internet. The blogs I follow seem to source well and for the most part I am getting the most updated information I can.

What I don’t understand is three full hours of the Zimmerman trial. You have Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan, Snowden, NSA, IRS, Benghazi, and other assorted scandals and wars. What I got tonight was three hours of trial coverage that deserved about five minutes in each one hour block. Yes, the Zimmerman case is a reflection on our society, and if he is acquitted, it could cause a race war, but that could be three weeks away.

I don’t know who does the programming for Fox News but they are doing themselves an injustice with the constant coverage of the Zimmerman case when there is so much more going on in the world. C’mon guys, I look past your bias for some facts, not a bunch of “experts” boring the hell out of me.

CAIRO – In a passionate address to the nation Tuesday, Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi said he would not step down and vowed to protect his democratic constitutional legitimacy with his life.
“I am prepared to sacrifice my blood for the sake of the security and stability of this homeland,” Morsi said in his speech.
Morsi’s late-night speech defied the millions of protesters seeking his ouster and fresh elections, as well as the country’s armed forces 48-hour ultimatum for him to strike a deal with his political opponents.

Egypt: Fundamentalist Morsi Defies both Protesters & Military Ultimatum, says Obama Backs Him

So where is the billions of dollars we just gave the soon to be disposed leader of Egypt. I don’t know if Obama is just incompetent or in over his head.

How did that feel America? $1.3 billion spent for brand new train wreck of another middle east nation.

Obama Toasts Dictator Who Ruined African Nations Economy

Obama Toasts Dictator Who Ruined African Nations Economy

As an American President you would think he would shy away from giving props to communist dictators…oh wait…. I meant any American president with half a brain would shy away from such statements. That is unless he truly thinks socialist policies make things better….oh, damn.

President Barack Obama toasted the founding dictator of post-colonial Tanzania on Monday, who collectivized the nation’s low-tech agricultural sector, established a one-party state and left that African nation’s economy in ruins.

“[Y]ou might say an American child is my child. We might say a Tanzanian child is my child,” Obama said after quoting the Tanzanian saying “my neighbor’s child is my child.”

“In this way, both of our nations will be looking after all of our children and we’ll be living out the vision of President [Julius] Nyerere,” Obama continued.

OK, I can see where this is headed. Didn’t MSNBC talking head Melissa Harris-Perry spew that same kind of BS about “our children”?
‘These are our children.’ So part of it is, we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents, or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities. Once it’s everybody’s responsibility, and not just the household’s, then we start making better investments.”  _ Melissa Harris-Perry

Obama continues:

“The core values that he proclaimed for Tanzania also describe what both our countries seek — wisdom, unity, and peace — Hekima, Umoja, na Amani,” Obama said at a state dinner, held at 9.00 p.m. local time.

So an African nations socialist agenda is what America’s core values are? Who knew?

“So what I’d like to do is to propose a toast … to our gracious Tanzanian hosts, to our Tanzanian friends and to wisdom, unity and peace that we all seek in the world.  Cheers,” he told the invitees at the dinner, which took place in the Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam.

That ujamaa policy was very fashionable among U.S. and European progressives in the 1980s, when Obama was attending Colombia University and Harvard University. But it wrecked the nation’s economy, just as similar socialist planning wrecked the partly-developed economies of numerous African countries after European powers gave up their territorial claims in the continent. From the 1950s to the 1970s, socialist-themed policies crippled the economies of Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, Somalia, Ethiopia and several other African countries.

Julius Nyereres socialist policies destroyed his nations economy.

In Tanazania, Nyerere “was succeeded by the president of Zanzibar, Ali Mwinyi, who oversaw political reforms and a gradual transition to a market economy, in part due to economic collapse brought on by ujamaa and centralized economic management,” says the CRS report.

Oh I see what you did there Mr. Nyerere, you turned an industry into a collective, became a one-party state, and ruined a nations economy. If that sounds familiar, look no further than the man who gave the toast.
