LA Times Quote Of The Decade

LA Times Quote Of The Decade

Oh my hell this guy nails it. Californians take note.

“Frankly, I don’t know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office.
I’m not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close. When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we’re Number One. There’s no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on ‘Macbeth’.

The four of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab. You don’t know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words.”

— Columnist Burt Prelutsky, Los Angeles Times in response to Dianne Feinsteins unbelievable comment that “All vets are mentally ill in some way and government should prevent them from owning firearms”

HHS didn’t want users to see Obamacare’s true costs

“Healthcare.gov was initially going to include an option to browse before registering,” report Christopher Weaver and Louise Radnofsky in the Wall Street Journal. “But that tool was delayed, people familiar with the situation said.” Why was it delayed? “An HHS spokeswoman said the agency wanted to ensure that users were aware of their eligibility for subsidies that could help pay for coverage, before they started seeing the prices of policies.” (Emphasis added.)

As you know if you’ve been following this space, Obamacare’s bevy of mandates, regulations, taxes, and fees drives up the cost of the insurance plans that are offered under the law’s public exchanges. A Manhattan Institute analysis I helped conduct found that, on average, the cheapest plan offered in a given state, under Obamacare, will be 99 percent more expensive for men, and 62 percent more expensive for women, than the cheapest plan offered under the old system. And those disparities are even wider for healthy people.

That raises an obvious question. If 50 million people are uninsured today, mainly because insurance is too expensive, why is it better to make coverage even costlier?

And the obvious answer is it was all a lie, this is about power and control, nothing more.

Give A Man A Fish……

Give A Man A Fish……

When the system goes down, you better not be in an inner city, or even worse, a suburb of an inner city. Angry, hungry people who have no means of feeding themselves without government money will be coming for your stuff.

You want a glimpse into the future, looked what happened when the welfare state went dark and shut down for a few hours.
Guess they can’t eat their Obama phones.

This evening, the system that processes EBT food stamp cards across the country briefly went down.  America’s dependent took to their smartphones and threatened to riot…

Warning! Profanity ahoy!

Get Your Money For Nothin And Your Chicks For Free

Get Your Money For Nothin And Your Chicks For Free

Incredibly the federal government wants us to put our faith, money, and personal information in their secure and nurturing hands once again.

I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that everything the government touches fails, and fails miserably. The only success I can grant this behemoth is a strong military, and it takes hundreds of billions of dollars a year to keep that machine armed and ready. Like most government entities, the only way politicians know how to fix a problem is throw more money at it. And where the military is concerned I agree, but with this caveat, when you pay a military contractor five hundred dollars for a hammer, you may need to rethink who is doing the buying. I can go to my local hardware store and supply at least 20 hammers for that price, but I digress.

The point being, how in the hell do they expect us to trust them since they have screwed up everything we have entrusted them with in the past? Name one program that they have successfully put in place that has shown a profit. How about made our lives better?
Social Security? Yes they do give you back a few sheckles of what you paid in, but rumored to go broke in the next ten years.
Postal Service? Bankrupt…again.
Amtrak? Bankrupt….again.
Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac? Google Barney Frank, Bill Clinton, and the Community Reinvestment Act. Massive Failure.
Medicaid? Insolvent.
Medicare/Welfare? Unsustainable.
Green Energy? Solyndra….nothing more to say.
Government Motors? Lost billions in the stock sell off. Unions kicked ass though.

Just a few of the thousands and thousands of programs or agencies that can’t succeed even with the hundred kazillion billion million dollars that the American taxpayer hands over to them each year. Nope, it is my judgement, using decades of proof, that the United States Government cannot handle Americas health care needs. It’s just a fact, they suck at business and need to keep there filthy, grimy, greedy, inept hands out of it.

By the way, the hardware and software for Obamacares contract was supposed to cost 93 million, they paid 634 million, and it doesn’t work. Yeah let’s trust ’em.

The Tentacles Of Washington DC

The Tentacles Of Washington DC

We should be infuriated that we have allowed government to touch so much of our lives.

My wife works in real estate. Due to the shutdown they can’t close home sales because of the required IRS confirmation of income before closing. This one little detail, which is a duplication of effort done early in when you qualify, is stopping people from buying or selling. It just bugs the shit out of me that something this minor is causing so much pain, people are losing homes, money, and valuable time. How many other “small” functions does the government pay a federal employee to do that should be handled in the private sector, or at least the state level.

The question I can’t answer is why? Why do we let the government be that intrusive in everyday dealings. Why can’t we turn it over to private companies, much like your credit bureaus, they have all of your information. Why can’t you have a private company handle these miniscule items? The shutdown proves that government is to damn big touching to many items that could be handled other ways.

In southern Utah they have shut down Zions National Park. The city of Springdale survives on tourist money, they are losing a large portion of their annual income due to the shutdown. I don’t give a rats ass at this point who is to blame for the shutdown, the bigger picture should be for the states to take back their lands. Don’t let the feds get their grimy greedy hands in anything. The states should handle all of their own parks period. Anytime a state gives up land, they give up rights to it, and at the whim of an oppressive regime, they can punish people with a mere memo to the National Park Service.

That my friends is bullshit!!

As we have seen with these park closures and many other obstacles that the Obama regime has handed down due the the shutdown, it is abundantly clear that Washington DC has a firm grasp on everything in peoples lives and can dictate to the population when, where, what, and why at their pleasure. They just proved it. The revolution can’t start soon enough.

Once Again Obama/Jarrett Show Their True Colors

Once Again Obama/Jarrett Show Their True Colors

This has gotten completely out of hand. US citizens being kicked out of their homes, veterans being arrested for visiting an “open air” memorial, closures of Mt. Rushmore, parks and trails, Yellowstone tourists treated like criminals, Inns that are run privately and actually pay the government to be there, much like the lease payments made by the home owners of Lake Mead.

Then Obama opens up the National Mall and provides port-a-potties for illegal immigrants for a demonstration. Are you fucking kidding me?

A planned immigration reform rally will take place on the National Mall on Tuesday even though the site is closed due to the government shutdown.

Organizers for the “Camino Americano: March for Immigration Reform” were spotted Monday setting up a stage and equipment on the National Mall for the rally which will take place on Tuesday.

A few scattered barriers around the park have signs informing visitors that the area is closed as a result of the government shutdown.

Susana Flores, a spokesperson for the rally, confirmed for the Washington Examiner that the Park Service will allow the event to take place under the group’s rights granted by the First Amendment

I can’t even attempt to explain my outrage. Who do these people think they are? How are they getting away with this? This is a dictator and his regime using the power vested in them by the taxpayer to inflict as much visible pain as possible on the very people who pay for their mere existence. And in the meantime, continue to pander to a base that elected them.
Petty thug tactics used by a very small man.

This is not a President leading, this is a coward using others to do his dirty work in the name of the US Government, only a small minded individual(‘s) would stoop so low.

Obama will never leave office to avoid impeachment like Nixon did, he needs to be physically removed. All of you military folks out there consider this, if he did this to your veterans, he would do it to you.
